Someone is using my photo

just wanted to ask if you know, somebody has used my profile pic on here for there profile on ebare, as another member on here has told me, is there any way i can stop that? im guessing not? sorry to bother you with this question. paul xxx

Hi Paul
You need to contact ebare and tell them their member is using your property without your permission. They will ask you for evidence, so make sure you send them the original photo as proof that you are indeed the owner. This is normally enought for a reputable site to take the matter seriously.
Alternately, you can serve the hosting company with a DMCA notice (The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998).
Always watermark your photos. Your work is protected by the copyright laws, however this does not stop thieves from using it, abusing it and reselling it.
