Gift Certificate payment from outside the US

Do these take longer to recieve ?Â Â some one sent me a Victoria’s Secret E gift card and its takig longer than usual.Â

Is it for buying on the net? And when you receive the item you ordered,do you have to pay taxes:huh:How about shipping cost:huh: Sorry to ask so many questions,but i am looking for a way-other then snailmail to get paid.And it’s very difficult because i live in the netherlands……….so maybe it would be an option for me.

If it’s an online gift cert it shouldn’t take any longer because it is outside your country. Why would it?

If you buy from outside your country though you may have to pay taxes on the goods when they go through customs, we do here in the UK anyway, I can’t speak for other countries.

It’s best to request certificates from an online company where you can order stuff within your own borders so you’re not out of pocket.

ok thats answers my question.Â I had some one pay me with a Victorias Scrte e gift card and he was upset that it took like 5 hours for me to get it.Â Guess they were just being slow.Â I am in the US he is the in UK.

That’ll be just one of those things perhaps? Amazon certainly can take an hour to a few hours, I suppose it just depends on how busy the systems are.

It sounds as though your buyer was worried that you might have thought he was a timewaster?
