Well even at 6.20am (GMT) without any other programmes running, i still can`t use SL without it freezing up my PC. Even though my PC is fairly new it seems it wont run on it. So i guess i will have to give this a miss. My PC is not set up to run games which this seems to be to me, i.e. like the simms.
To every one thats plays online, have fun but i wont be joining you. So i will have to rely on the normal PH site/PH mall & the other ways that i contact the ladies that sell and miss out again!!

Hi Mike,

We’d really like to have you.Â :(Â It might be worth going to http://secondlife.com/knowledgebase/contact.php to let their techs know of your problem. I’m sure you aren’t the first, they may be able make a suggestion to get you in.

These are the suggested minimum hardware requirements for Second Life:

Thanks PK,
But after doing a quick check of my system, it looks as if my Video/Graphics Card is not up to it so ther fore i wont be joinging you or ther other`s in SL.
As it is, i`ve found that even just getting to the log in stage, it plays merry hell with my PC and my YIM which i might add is my life line, so sorry its a no go for.
I suppose now that SL is up and running, not much will be happening here as nearly all the sellers and some of the buyers with be hanging out in SL, it would be a shame if that happen, but i suppose things change.
Anyway, i`m not going to be around PH for the next few days, going to take a break from things.

Sniff.

Are graphics cards expensive? I’m sure the ladies here will be really bummed that you can’t play with them, myself included (once I get my ass in there).

I’m really looking forward to the unique interaction, and was hoping to get to know everyone in here a lot better through 2nd lifeÂ :crazy2: smt

PS – maybe it should be called “no life” – I’m already attached to my PC way more than I should be…LOL.

Most graphics cards can be updated via download.
If you want help Mike let me know.
And the girls will certainly not be leaving and deserting PH or you *huggles*

Thanks Kes,
But sorry SL is not for me as i`m not into role playing or on line games and don`t want to either. Its just not for meÂ 🙁
Besides it interfears with my YIM and other programmes on my PC.
Anyway, i hope it all works out for those that use SL and that it brings you and the other sellers more new customers, but don`t forget the old ones while your all in SL who can`t or wont join in on SL.
If i sound as if i`m a boaring old git, well sorry, but due to lack of word power i.e. knowing how to spell the bloody words i write in the easiest was to me, plain and simple.

Yeah, well i`m good for a laugh arn`t i. But soon that will be a thing of the past as i have now decided its time to cut back on my posts here! You could say i`m calling time.
Now theres a funny thing, can you ever pay back borrowed time?? What happens when the sand runs out:huh: Do you live for today/tomorrow or plan for the future??

Mike dont you dare stop posting!Â SL is great but it doesnt provide the real one on one that alot of us prefer.Â Besides most of us are having a few problems in running it anyway – my PC has taken to just shutting down when I want to change the size of my ass .. maybe its trying to tell me something LOL.Â It is alot of fun but so is Panty Hog 🙂

Actually, when I log into 2nd life my PC powers up like a jet plane. I swear it sounds like its going to sprout wings and fly off into the living room.. :laugh:

I’m puzzled as well why you will be cutting back.Â SL has a novelty value at present but is in no way a substitute for posting here. Frankly posting here is hugely less buggy & complicated!

Plse don’t stop.Â All the forums have been quiet of late and would be even quieter if we all stop posting.

Mike honey, I don’t use it. I was going to just so I could see if my graphic card is the one I paid for, but I’m on dial up so it’s a no go. I’m not really in to games either, well not that kind…. stay here and play with me!!
