Yay!
I have just found out that Alertpay can now process payments from the UK. They are a US company and I have used them for a while for USA payments, and have found them to be very good. They allow usage for adult goods and services, except child pornography, eek! It is free for the buyer to send money, but they need to have deposited it into their alertpay account first, and all they need is your email address. The fees for business sellers are 2.5% and 25p per transaction, and £2.25 to transfer money into a UK bank account. There is also a personal acount with a monthly limit which is a bit cheaper, and good if you don’t make too many sales. They have lots of seller tools too, I haven’t tried them though.
Worth looking into I reckon, as the only other UK online payment processor in the UK is Forepay, who I have not been very impressed with…
