I’m fairly new to selling my used “intimates”…but I still only sell at auctions. I see most of you have links to your own websites. Is there some way I can set something up for myself that is simple and easy to use (and reasonably priced?)
My biggest fear is being able to filter out minors…I would hate to get in trouble by not having the right type of site. Or to have my site shut down because “adult-related” themes weren’t allowed.

Iif you want a bigger site, I’m very happy with my host Lunarpages – $8 a month for all the bandwith I could possibly use (on a 1 yr contract, it’s a bit more if you’re paying by-the-month), and you can be, “as adult as is legal in the state of california”

MemberYes I agree. Panty Trust is a great place to start. Gather all the info you need to set up your site. Online payment processors (which is a challenging one Im afraid as most seem shy of Adult Sites).
If you want to just practise some HTML etc then go for a free geocities site at yahoo. Some they shut down, some they dont, but I started out on one of those until I could afford to buy a proper name and hosting.
My hosting is quite expensive now because of the amount of traffic I receive so Im a bit out of “good deals” knowlege etc .. maybe I should be looking for someone a bit more “bandwidth friendly” too?!?!
Filtering out minors is always a tricky one. Get your site ICRA labelled so then its actually up to the parents to restrict certain sites on their kids computers.. and its free 🙂

I really did follow the link on your site to get my ICRA labels Cinders, and that was before I joined Panty Hog too :whistling:
FYI for web-building newbies, the labels we are talking about are bits of code that go into the “head” section of your html document. If you go to the site of the labelling organization:

In this case the Internet Content Rating Association,
they’ll have a form that asks a bunch of questions about your site’s content. How much nudity, what body parts are shown, who’s doing what with whom, is there any blood involved, that sort of thing. You fill out the form and it generates a set of “meta tags” that you copy and paste into your doc.When somebody’s surfing the web with the right software, they can specify whether they want to see sites with your type of content, and the meta tags are how the filtering software knows what’s on your site. It’s a good system because it leaves the actual “censorship” up to the individual user…nobody decides what your kids will or won’t see but you.
