I’m starting a new competition on my blog titled
“Bits you love and bits you hate”
A friend of mine at Uni did a photography project, where she asked people to let her take photos of them showing bits of themselves the loved and bits they hated. When she’d displayed to project she put all the images together, without names only letters to represent each picture. People had to guess which parts were hated by their owns and which parts loved.
The whole idea being to show people that the parts they hate are often seen as beautiful by others. For the purposes of this game the structure will be as follows.
I’ll ask you to send me three pictures of yourself with your watermark on it so people know it is you. You can have either two loves and one dislike or two dislike and one love. Then when the competition is up and running people can guess which ones are your happy parts and which are your unhappy parts. I’ll take part myself and trust me I have more than enough to include! If you are interested then check out my blog to read more, and email me with your pictures

Thank goodness other people see past our flaws and love us anyhow smt
We are our own worst critics, but I think this is a wonderful project that is long overdue because we all have our insecurities that are completely unnecessary. It’s such a shame that we hang onto them longer than a security blanket, almost like an addiction.
We certainly don’t want to have insecurities, but they’re so damn hard to let go of. I’m glad to say I’ve shed a few, but I still can’t shake one or two 😉
I am truly looking forward to this and I want to thank you for starting this because it’s an eye-opener.

There’ this new show, HOW TO LOOK GOOD NAKED. It focuses on women that hate their bodies…and shows them how to love them.Â

I already like myself better from watching it. smt

The only thing is though, it always features larger ladies, when us skinny girlies have just as many body hang ups. Being slim doesn’t automatically make you body confident. Great idea FK! smt

It will be celebrated world wide but especially in America,Canada and Russia. One of Burns lines are
”O wid some poo’er the giftie gie us
tae see oorsel’s as ithers see us”meaning; Why didn’t God give us the ability to see what others see in ourselfs.
He was most famous for Auld Lang Syne, but wrote some wonderful poems and songs.
One Scot who is known worldwide.to all the ladies here;My love is like a red red rose that’s newly sprung in June
My love is like a melody that’s sweetly played in tune. smtjust a thought

I watch How to Look Good Naked, and although I generally am not too self-conscious, I still have my moments. That program always brings a tear to my eye, they look gorgeous when they take the naked photo (plus I love the tips on what beauty products work and which dont).
So I will definitely be sending you some hideous (and one nice) photos FK.
