Sorry to make a post about this but i read the sticky and i wanted to correct this 🙂

Paypal does let everybody accept money now for adult items as long as they are items that aren’t electronically transferred (email etc.)

Just thought i let everybody know to simplify things 🙂

That would be great news. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t bet my Paypal balance on that. You might want to send Paypal an email and ask them if you are permitted to use Paypal to accept payment for your dirty panties. I think you’ll be surprised by the response. Many sellers have asked Paypal that exact question. They all get the same response.

this is taken right from paypal:

    “Physical Goods
PayPal permits transactions for certain sexually oriented physical goods by U.S. residents. Physical goods include videos, DVDs, magazines or other tangible products physically delivered to the customer. In determining what physical goods are permitted or prohibited, PayPal may consider some or all of the following factors:
    # Any regulations or restrictions on the purchase or sale of the good in the applicable jurisdiction.

    # The classification of the good by a recognized ratings board.

    # Whether the work depicts or describes, in a patently offensive way, sexual conduct.

    # Representations or descriptions of intercourse, masturbation, excretory functions, or lewd exhibition of the genitals.

    # Dominant theme of the material or website.

    # Literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.

    # Safety and protection of its customers, both buyers and sellers.

    # Medical or educational usage of the
    product or service.”

Selling panties is permitted even if they are worn 🙂 just dont tell paypal that it is covered in juices and what not..that’s not their business anyways haha

This is old quite old news that was discussed here and on other panty fetish sites thoroughly when Paypal changed its terms of service about two years ago. Please read through the rest of the Paypal threads here Lips. We’ve all seen the terms of service many times before over the years.

The sellers here offered advice to help new sellers avoid having their accounts frozen. The simple fact of the matter is that when Paypal discovers that a person is accepting payment for used panties, the account is frozen. You are certainly welcome to ignore that advice and first-hand experience of established sellers and use Paypal.

You’re missing the point entirely. It IS their business. You are using their business to conduct your business and they will close you down.

I’d be very surprised if they haven’t already.

at the end of the day it is up to you if you take the advice or not, but people have lost money before!

the majority of buyers also know this so if i was buying it would instantly put me off buying from someone who is saying that they can use paypal

That’s been a subject of speculation for years. The general consensus, from what I’ve read and heard, is that most sellers end up ‘getting busted’ because they were reported by someone – in most cases a buyer in the aftermath of a transaction gone bad. But sometimes by a jeaulous or overly competitive seller (although I’ve never seen hard evidence of either, and paypal never tells). It’s been rumored also that paypal employs spies to troll the panty selling/auction sites and report sellers who advertise paypal as a payment option (Again, no verifiable evidence to support that).

One thing is clear though: some panty sellers have had their accounts frozen for TOS violations related to the selling of dirty panties. So it would seem accepting paypal does expose you to some potential risk. On the other hand, I personally know panty sellers who have taken paypal payments for years – literally hundreds of transactions – and have never had a problem.

I haven’t been buying much lately but when I was, paypal was definitely my preferred payment method – it’s fast, easy and free (for buyers). However I NEVER made it a condition of the sale, and in the case of auctions I never even asked about it until after I had won the auction. I didn’t worry much about paypal’s TOS because I always kept my account balance at or near zero, and I didn’t depend on the account for anything else (paying bills, ebay, etc.). So it wouldn’t have been any great tragedy if they had suspended me for 6 months.

It’s something you have to decide for yourself depending on your own situation. In my opinion dicretion is the key. In the absence of a good online alternative, you may well want to consider accepting paypal – there is a certain percentage of the buying market who will pay using paypal and nothing else. But be careful with it, and be smart about it: don’t advertise it overtly, keep the funds in your account to a minimum, and don’t use it if you need that account for other purposes.

By the way, if the worst were to happen and you were suspended for TOS violations, it’s only a myth that you will “lose money”. All they can do is freeze your account, including whatever outstanding balance you have in it, for a period of time, usually 6 months. And then make you jump through a bunch of hoops to get back in their good graces.

    Good luck to you.

As Viking indicated, a seller can be reported directly by anyone who feels the need to do so for whatever reason.

It is logical to also believe that Paypal runs scans on transactions for red flag keywords and then examines flagged transactions more closely for violations. A seller has little control over what a buyer might put in the “notes” section of the payment form.

I can verify that Paypal investigators do in fact browse panty selling themed sites to look for sellers advertising that they accept Paypal. Several years ago, shortly after Paypal dis-allowed payments for used panties, we at Panty Trust received a legal “cease and desist” letter from Paypal listing the URL of each seller page on the Panty Trust website that indicated that the seller accepted Paypal and demanding that any references to Paypal acceptance be removed from the site.

I can verify as well that Paypal can and has excised its option to take punitive action against a buyer’s account as well the seller’s account. Yes, some sellers and buyers have gotten away with skirting the Paypal rules for years. Taking or making payments through Paypal for prohibited items is much like smoking. Some smokers have lived to be 100 with no problems, unfortunately though, the majority will likely die early from smoking related illnesses. The official position of Panty Trust members is that taking Paypal payments for prohibited items, beside being unethical because it violates Paypal’s term of service, puts both the seller and buyer at risk and adds an element of deception to the transaction. Therefore, our members decided some time ago that it was important enough to address in our member Code of Conduct.

Just a quick question. Why does paypal even have to know what the money is for? It could be for anything really? Books, cd’s etc.

Because people get excited and put a description of what they are paying for in the notes section, or someone turns you in to Paypal.

Hundreds have tried but it always works out the same in the end.

I have just set your account to show the newest posts first in a thread. The settings for how you view the forum and things like this are in the drop-down menus in the left upper corner of your profile page.
