OK… so I just bought what I thought to be a decent vacuum sealer. Well, it seems the model I got is quite inferior. Or maybe its eBay’s fault :angry:

Just wondered what any of you other girls were using! There are about a million kinds out there.

Hey Sasha,

I was disappointed with my first vacuum sealer too, I sent it back. It seems that unless you buy a good quality one the motor is not strong enough to suck out all of the air. I now use an Eiffel Freshpack Pro, and it’s great, it was expensive though (but worth it!). Be careful with vacuum sealer bags too, they can have quite a strong plastic scent which can taint the panties. I put mine in standard grip lock bags inside a vacuum sealer bag. This also gives the buyer something to keep the panties in after they have cut open the vacuum sealer bag.

I’m not a panty seller (that should be obvious, right?), but I do spend a lot of time in the kitchen. And my wife is a kitchen gadget enthusiast.

She bought us a FoodSaver Vac550. It really sucks! And that’s a good thing! :laugh:

It has held up well over the past six or seven years. I think it’s time for me to replace the foam gaskets on it, but otherwise it is performing fine. It’s not a cheap model, it looks like it retailed for $120 – $150 U.S. But, often, you get what you pay for.

Wow! Talk about a coincidence! My vacuum sealer just broke- but it was because my house mate was trying to use it and broke it. I’m so pissed off. I had to send an order out to one of my favorite clients this morning in a zip lock bag. I never thought about the storage of panties before Pony Girl, you make a valid point.

Because most of my clients are overseas I like the added confidence I have when I vacuum seal because I know they’ll be fresh, errr, dirty when they arrive. Quality control is so important.

Ahhh, tangent! Ok, I use/d the Sunbeam FoodSaver VAC 420. It was fantastic up until my house mate used it. Now I have to hunt around and see if I can find the warranty!

I have a Foodsaver Vac350 ,probably obsolete by now..but a no-fail amazing piece of machinery. I have been using it for years – and I bought it 2nd hand from a seller that hung up her panties – so tack on a few more years of use. It has never let me down. I totally love it, and when it dies I will replace it with another Foodsaver for sure!:silly:

I’ve gone and gotten myself a shiny new Foodsaver, works like a charm!

Next time they do an infomercial, I’d like to be in the studio audience:

“And what do you use the Foodsaver for?”

“So the used panties I sell online arrive to my happy customers fresh and deliciously moist!”

Good choice Sasha. I’ve had a Foodsaver brand vac for a few years (I actually use it for food 🙂 ) and I have been happy with it.

The bags are a little expensive but Sam’s Club, Costco, and BJ’s sell the bags in bulk to save a bit of money.
