Updated: Payment Processor Woes Continue

Used Panty Transactions(Update added to end of article)

Will the used panty fetish community end yet another year without a viable payment solution for buyers and sellers? A rumor of account closure and frozen assets has surfaced lately from a user of PPPay. PPPay has had a loyal and very appreciative following in the used panty community as one of the last online payment processors to accept our community’s business. In an effort to clarify whether PPPay had indeed begun to ban transactions from our community, we carefully studied their terms of service, and emailed their customer service directly.

We saw nothing in the current terms of service to indicate that transactions for sales of pre-worn clothing were prohibited. Our email to customer service explained who we were, and what we had heard.

We asked for a statement of clarification that we could share publicly here on Panty Hog to let our community know what the status was regarding transactions for used clothing. Our email was answered quickly, but unfortunately was not definitive. The response we received was " Any users that have a problem with accessing their account should contact us directly and we will assist. We would need to look at the user’s account to understand any reasons behind a user not being able to login". Obviously, this response does not indicate that transactions for used clothing are prohibited, but it doesn’t indicate that they are acceptable either. Certainly, we at Panty Hog would have liked to offer the community a simple "Yes, you can use PPPay", or "No, you can’t". We find it unfortunate that someone would need to wait until their account was frozen to find out if their transactions were acceptable. However, since the response did not indicate that these transactions are against policy, it does leave a glimmer of hope that there were other circumstances beyond simply selling used clothing that lead to closure of the accounts in question. It appears that the only advice we can offer the used panty community at this point regarding this situation is to watch the PPPay terms of service closely for any changes regarding this subject.

Also on the subject of PPPay, is their recent withdraw of sending/receiving abilities for USA based customers. One of the great benefits of the PPPay service has been the fact that it easily facilitated transactions across the big pond. According to the message on the PPPay website: "Due to forces beyond our control, PPPay is withdrawing facilities for sending and receiving US Dollars. This is to be a temporary measure. Our apologies for any inconvenience, withdrawals can be made as normal as we speak to the US financial authorities."  this may be a temporary setback. Lets hope they are successful in bringing back the ability to handle transactions using the US dollar.

Update:

Shortly after this article was posted, we received an email from a member telling us about Alertpay as a viable alternative. This service has been mentioned in the forums, but we hadn’t investigated it, and basically forgot about it. The member who emailed indicated that they have been highly satisfied with the service, and pointed out that Alertpay even offers an account especially for adult transactions. After two hours or so of review of the Alertpay site/terms, and related searches for info on Alertpay on google, it does in fact appear that that Alertpay is a promising payment service for used panty sellers. If you are looking for a new processor, check Alertpay out. If you have used them, please let everyone know what your experience has been in the Panty Talk forums.
