Being a drummer,I thought there might be some songs/groups that you have been listening too over the weekend(s) that have put an extra smile on your face that you’d be willing to share with us all! I have several, but I’ll start a small list of about 8 just to get things underway.

Pull Me Under
2.) Huey Lewis & the news – I Want A New Drug,
Do You Believe In Love
3.) Savatage – Hall Of The Mountain King,
Shotgun Innocence
4.) Iron Butterfly – In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida,
Flowers And Beads
5.) Scorpions – Rock You Like A Hurricane,
Cause I Love You
6.) Firehouse – Love Is A Dangerous Thing,
Somethin’ Bout Your Body
7.) Led Zepplin – Whole Lotta Love,
Immigrant Song
8.) AC/DC – Back In Black,
Let Me Put My Love Into YouNow,feel free to continue so we can get to know alittle more about everyone here except for our love of panties! ( I’m sure we ‘ALL’ have that 1 ):P
– just alittle different thread I thought I’d try to start –January 12, 2009 at 5:46 am #24762anniMember1. Julee Cruise – Rockin’ Back into my Heart (From Twin Peaks)
2. Jane Birkin – Jane B
3. MC Hawking – Rock Out with Your Hawk Out
4. Belanova – Baila Mi Corazon (I saw this on a comercial and it’s been stuck in my head.)
5. Amanda Lapore – Amanda Sampler (I love Trannies)
6. Ghostland Observatory – Sad, Sad City
These songs have a tendency to get stuck in my head for days at a time. Also, I can’t hear the beginning of any of them without having to hear the rest.
Plus, they all make me happy.

January 16, 2009 at 4:26 am #24805Mask Man N95MemberI am a huge fan of Arcade Fire and their song “Neighborhood 3: Power Out”, as well as “The Twist” by Frightened Rabbit.
Recently I was listening to student radio station KRUA Anchorage and they played some good tunes by Faded Paper Figures, the Henry Clay People, and Dark Dark Dark.
I like indie. :p

Only got into her because someone told me I look like her – how narcissistic is that?

If you get the chance,go – their concerts are about 3 hrs long and very intense!! ( in short, you will never/ever be the same afterwards ) :y32b4: * words from a drummer’s point of view *
February 14, 2009 at 7:02 am #25065anniMemberIt looks very intense on the 30 second commercial! 😆
February 18, 2009 at 9:09 pm #25097Mask Man N95MemberTV day today. Got it on MSNBC. Gettin’ mah Chuck todd fix.
But musicwise, this weekend, I took advantage mainly of iTunes ability to transmit radio. My favorite station in any market is KEXP (90.3) in Seattle, which is a community radio station (University of Washigton service, I think).
Lots of Frightened Rabbit, as well. Great Scottish band.
