Missing girls

    I currently have 2 M.I.A. girls and orders and I’m wondering if anyone has had any contact with them recently.

    The 1st I don’t expect to hear from again (but I’ll ask anyway) is Sasha. I haven’t herd from her since December last year.

    The 2nd is Nicola. I have had an order outstanding with her for almost a year now (wow I just realized how bad that sounds). It was a complicated order and I have had on and off contact with her but she disappears for long stretches and now I haven’t herd from her in over a month. I know she has the items I asked for (she sent me some pics) and I have received orders from her before. Anyone herd from her?

    Hey Asuka
    I havent seen or heard from either in along time. Both websites have been down for at least 8 months.
    Nicola was PT verified, if you have lost any money, you should be able to claim it back.

    Thanks Serena, Sasha was also PT verified. I starting to think its not worth the paper.. er bits its written on. I think Nicola will come good on the order eventually but when that will be I have no idea. I have no idea what I’ve done wrong here. I went for verified sellers and I’m getting screwed. The 2 unverified sellers I have bought from went smoother than the verified sellers. Its a little ridiculous.

    Unfortunately Panty Trust cannot guarantee that sellers will not disappear when they are faced with personal crisis or when their dogs run away.

    Both Sasha and Nicola went very quite before they vanished completely, in between they made us aware that they were faced with some serious personal problems.

    Panty Trust is there to refund any loss when things go wrong.
    If things didn’t sometime go wrong, there would be no reason for Panty Trust to exist.

    What is ridiculous is that Sasha, Nicola and their website have been gone for a year and this is getting flagged now?!

    The guarantee that PT gives on PT verified sellers isn’t that you will definitely get your panties. Nobody can guarantee that. The guarantee is that you won’t be out of pocket.

    PT will help you chase up your order. They will contact the seller on your behalf, to try and find out what is happening and they will get back to you and inform you what is happening.

    If they also can’t get hold of the seller they will reimburse you if you show evidence of what you tried to purchase and evidence that you have been chasing the seller for either a refund or the goods you ordered.

    The idea of getting verified is that genuine sellers will make the effort in the first place and for as long as they want to sell they will do a good job in keeping their buyers happy. Any seller can go bad at the end of her selling career. Nobody can foresee it and nobody can guarantee against it. The system isn’t fool proof, it’s just the best way that Bill (who used to be ripped off as a buyer himself) can think of.

    I have to agree with Serena. Why are you asking about them now? They’ve been gone for ages!

    Sorry to hear of your problems with two former Panty Trust members Asuka. As Anna and Serena stated, Panty Trust has no physical hold over members to force delivery. The process and choice to join Panty Trust however does help to signify that a seller is a real person who does consider customer service and fair business practices to be a priority. That sets the seller apart from the average seller that you’ll find on the internet. Due to the nature of the internet panty selling business, even Panty Trust can’t promise a perfect solution, but with Panty Trust, at least a buyer has a fighting chance if a problem occurs whereas with a non Panty Trust member you’ve got no chance of any satisfaction if something goes wrong.

    Panty Trust does have several safeguards in place to assist buyers if a problem occurs. These safeguards are in place while the seller is an active member and can include a refund of the buyer’s money up to the amount of the member’s membership fee ($50.00). When a member lets Panty Trust know that they are retiring or no longer selling, a portion of their membership fee is returned to them (as long as there are no outstanding buyer complaints on file). This is done as an incentive to let us know that they are no longer active so that we can get them off of the active member list to keep the list up to date.

    It is very important for any buyer who purchases from a Panty Trust member to report a problem immediately. When a member lets us know that they are no longer active and we have nothing to alert us of any problems, the money sent back to the seller is the money that would be used to refund a buyer. In this case for example, you’re talking about two ladies who haven’t been members of Panty Trust for quite a long time. When they left, we had no reason to believe that their refunds should be withheld. At this point in time, I’d be happy to try and contact them for you on behalf of Panty Trust but it has been long enough that I don’t even know if they still have/check the email addresses we had for them.

    I can certainly understand being frustrated and upset with getting ripped off. However saying that Panty Trust is worthless, especially if you didn’t contact them and ask for help in the first place isn’t exactly fair or realistic, it actually makes no sense at all. How could you possibly say they didn’t help you if you never let them know that you needed help?

    Look at it this way, at best, if you get taken on an auction site like ebay/ebanned and you report it, if you get an answer at all, it will be a form letter saying “Sorry, all transactions are between seller and buyer – we take no responsibility” and then they won’t even delete the bad seller. If you buy from a seller’s website and get ripped off, you won’t even have anyone to complain to. At worst if you buy on a place like MPS and get screwed, the owner of the site will laugh at you because it is likely one of his own “female” profiles that took your money.

    If you buy from a Panty Trust member anywhere on the net and you have a problem (and you let them know!), you’ll have the entire organization including women like Anna and Serena working to make it right for you. Even if it ends up that they can’t get you what you ordered, you’re still ahead because at least you had a bunch of people doing their best to help you. In all the years, through hundreds of members at Panty Trust, I think I’ve heard of 4 members that went AWOL with someone’s money. Compare that to probably that many non-PT panty sellers or more who rip people off every hour around the net. Considering Panty Trust provides this service to buyers at no cost at all (and I don’t see anyone else lining up to do it for free), I’d say buyers get a pretty damn good shake from Panty Trust.

    Thanks guys and I am sorry for shooting my mouth off at PT. I didn’t realise that they have a system to claim money back. My fault I should have read up on it but even if I did the $50 from each girl would not even cover half of what I’ve lost. Its just so frustrating. I mean even if they won’t wear the items I paid for and the don’t want to send any more e-mails and want to disappear they could at least post the expensive lingerie I paid for. I still have the same address.

    I’m so sorry Akusa, that’s really shitty of those girls. I hope you ll be able to claim something back.

    Which brings me to the next point:
    It was brought to my attention that not all newish buyers and some sellers realise that Panty Trust offers a claim/refund service when things go wrong.

    I have a few theories as to why, and I suspect that often PTV is compared to other meaningless verification that offer zero.

    I was wondering if there is a way to make this more obvious?
    Perhaps adding something like a ‘.. or your many back’ to the logo/branding.

    Any thoughts?

    Its not a bad idea but I don’t think you can offer your money back, not unless PT sets up an insurance offer (I think I read something about starting that up soon) but maybe something like “Up to $50 buyer protection”.

    There is an insurance scheme already in place I think, but I agree that the best way to describe the current service is by saying: PT offers up to $50 buyer protection’
