Something is up with the personal message notification box.

Everytime I post and then click elsewhere the box pops up, I OK it to take me to my messages…but there are no messages!

Also the usual hyperlink url and text boxes has vanished too.

Ooo, and the bits you added to the profiles stating if we were verified or not has gone.

Okay the Panty Trust and extra text boxes are back.

Anna, I’m not sure what exactly you mean about the PM notification box. Are you talking about in the log in or register box in the left menu area where it tells you if you have new messages? I don’t see any problem there, but I probably just don’t know what you mean. If you were also talking about the insert hyperlink button in the post form, the old version had a javascript popup. Now it just enters the url tags around the url that you type right into your message. If you want to make a clickable text link instead of simply displaying the url use this code:

I mentioned this this feature to you before and you were surprised then.

I don’t mean the box in Log In Or Register.

When someone sends me a PM, the next time I refresh the screen a box pops up telling me that I have a personal message. I click the OK button and then another screen opens at my personal messages.

A while back I was getting two notification boxes per PM.

Now I’m getting one when I don’t actually have a new PM.

Hi Anna,

Go to your forum profile and click the link that says personal message options. There is a box there that says “pop up on new messages”, Unselect that and save. Then select it again (if you want pop-ups)and save again. See if that does anything.
