The Rip-Off area of the forum has been taken off-line for the time being, and may return with a different structure and rules. As for concerns regarding moderation and management of the board, I don’t think I’ve ever come across a more giving and fair group. People here are volunteers. No profit comes from moderating an area of the forum, but plenty of time is required. I wholeheartedly salute all of the moderators here at Panty Hog for caring about the community enough to offer their time to help out. Everyone is busy, it takes a commitment to the betterment of the used panty community to give when you don’t have to, and when you’re not getting paid for it. Anyone is welcome to moderate, and our moderators would love the help I’m sure. If a member feels they can do a better job, all it takes is an email asking to moderate, and they’ll have their chance.

a very timely decision PK… things can easily get out of control and when things get out of control, they should be controlled. . *phew what a mouthful *  you and other mods are doing a wonderful job and i salute you for it.

    keep up the great work

It sounds like you’ve taken an earbashing PK?

Maybe it’s for the best, it’s a great idea but in practice I can see it’s hard to make work. If a seller says the content of this site is slanderous then what can you do when you don’t know the full story?

On a lighter note, as I type this there’s a pic of the new Panty Hog boxer shorts staring at me, you got yourself a pair yet PK?  :cheer:

I’ve never seen anything slanderous in the rip-off thread. I am really sorry to see it down. I hope you will make the right decision and bring it back. No chance to visit until just now today so I don’t know what happened but watching over the last couple of days I can guess.

We buyers of used panties need information on rip off sites or even just ladies that give shit service. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that I like hearing what other buyers’ experiences have been before I buy. As far as complaints, what else would be expected? The owners of panty farms and scam sellers will always bitch and moan the loudest when they are exposed. Fuck them PK, why should anyone care what a fraud has to say? They are criminals who are stealing panty buyers’ money. Not only should they appear in the rip off area – they should be arrested for what is by definition a cyber crime. I’m pissed off at the Panty Cop too. Where has he been?

For the frauds who whine and bitch when exposed I have this to say……………………………..

While having a rip-off section seems like a good idea on the surface, I see it as being similar to walking through a mine field. Sure, you get a few good steps in but then one of the damn things blows up right in your face.

It’s too easy to make unfounded accusations anonymously on the internet. It seems that because of this and other reasons, as soon as there is any miscommunication on either side, people start crying foul and reputations are easily ruined. I’m just not sure why we need to take the negative approach.

Maybe if more buyers posted their good experiences? That way we would see alot of positive information about as many sellers as possible. I’d rather see one hundred sellers mentioned in a positive way. That’s more the input I look for anyway. If I see people saying good things about someone, I wanna try them out.

Hearing bad things about bad sellers doesn’t help me get panties in my hands. hearing good things about good sellers gives me choices!

I’m sure I’m not expressing myself clearly here. I would just rather see the panty community take a positive path. The fakes will fade away with no recommendations and the good sellers with good customer service will thrive in that type of environment.

Just some of my jumbled thoughts on the matter.LOL

Thank you, this section was NOT being used as it should and I agree with Krooze, have a recommended section rather than one where one person or even other sellers could destroy a reputation in a flash. I think the mods do a good job in general, just not on the Rip Off Section…

My argument was, a RIP OFF is a cheat…. Not “the panties were not as strong smelling as they had hoped”, or in my case “I was rude to a seller” when I wasn’t… I felt annoyed that rather than delete a post that was an opinion rather than a fact is was allowed to esculate causing stress for the seller.

Anyway, I shall move on and sorry if I have offended anyone..

My Goodness Donna – cant you let it go?? ?

I fail to understand why you are so angry and keep harping on about the time some buyer complained about you.? That post was immediately taken out of the rip off section anyway?

But hey if you can provide all the time and energy it takes to moderate a forum then why don’t you offer to help too:huh:

Anyway I shall shut-up now because, to be honest, this is getting incredibly ridiculous, especially after your outburst on here yesterday!? ….. plus of course the “rip off” section in question has now been taken away.

..Krooze thats not a bad idea – but we do already have a golden panty site thread where buyers can leave rave reviews about their favourite seller .. maybe the choice of words needs to be changed to say “buyer’s experiences” or something?  I don’t know… but it needs to be something where no-one can be victimised whether its a buyer, seller or even a moderator!

    Love Cinds? 😛

Why not just have a section for complaints not rip off warnings.? Not all complaints are about being ripped off, some people just have general complaints.? If the person who the complaint is about is a member on here then they can be notified accordingly and then they can deal with the complaint.

I have to say that Moderators on here do a brilliant job and as such should be congratulated for the time and effort they put into doing the job.? It is not an easy job so well done to you all.? ?smt

I have dealings with buyers where I could post some serious “complaints” and “Can you believe the nerve?” …. but I wouldn’t dream of posting them where thousands of people can read about it. It just doesn’t seem professional to me.

We’re not running a Walmart of panties – this is a personal and sensitive business.

It seems to me, in my understanding – that there is already a committee who has volunteered to play the mediator between buyer and seller – I thought it was Panty Trust?

Whoa..I posted about the closing of the rip-off section just to let people know what was up, I didn’t intend for it to start more grief. Yes, it is gone, and will not return in its former format. The suggestions are appreciated, and will be taken into consideration for whatever replaces the rip-off section.

Good point about Panty Trust Ruby. However Panty Trust’s mediation services are only offered when the seller is a Panty Trust member. Coincidence perhaps, but none of the people ever mentioned in the rip-off area were affiliated with Panty Trust so it wouldn’t have helped in those cases.
