Auction Sellers Please Read

I’ve had some questions from sellers using the auction. Save yourself some grief and read these tips first!

When you create an auction listing, you can upload up to four photos by clicking the third image option: “Upload Images”. This will automatically create a nice gallery for your auction, put a thumbnail of one of your photos in the list of auctions, and allow you to put your item in the gallery featured area.

If you instead want to use the second photo option to show photos hosted on your web site, your Panty Hog gallery, Fototrust, Photeo, etc. Make sure you enter the url to the photo without the http:// . The http:// is already there for you. Just enter it as starting with: wwww.somesite.com. If you add the http:// your photo won’t work because it will cause the address to be http://http://www. somesite….

You can use both the upload photo,gallery maker option, so you have the benefit of that, and then add extra photos hosted elsewhere in the body of your auction.

If you accept Alertpay, then when you create your auction, click the box for Alertpay and enter your Alertpay email address in the box that says “Alerypay email address”. If you do this, when a bidder wins your auction, anytime he looks at that closed auction, he will see a button that says “Pay now with Alertpay” that he can simply click and be taken right to an Alertpay checkout page to pay instantly. This is all automatic, you don’t need to do anything besides enter the email address associated with your Alertpay account when you create the auction. This works just like what eBay does with Paypal.

Check out the auction menu option for “Services”. This lists all of the links to get to things you’ll want to do such as create a “me” page, create a store, etc. When you create a store, do notice that you must first upload (browse for your image and then push the upload button)a logo/header image/photo before creating a store if you want a logo/header image/photo in your store.

Q. I don’t want to get in trouble, other sites have told me I’m not allowed to put links or banners to my site in my auctions, is this really allowed?

I’ve either done a piss-poor job of getting the message across, or you haven’t looked at Panty Hog at all. Panty Hog is not like any other site. The entire Panty Hog web site is founded on the belief that the used panty fetish community will be strengthened by providing a place for the community to share everything and anything related to used panties. After you’ve put the link to your site in your auction listing, come on back and put it in a lead story on our front page.
