I don`t know if its me but some auction seems to have gone  :crazy2: with the same person out bidding himself on a few auctions! So is the highest bid that the person has place against himself the winning amount:huh: Why not just place a bid and if then your out bid, bid again?
Just seems very strange to me  :uglystupid2:

I noticed that too, but obviously have no idea of the outcome…seems strange to have to pay the highest price you bid when nobody else bid….ebay doesn’t work like that…I take it there is no proxy bidding on Panty Hog Auctions?

Perhaps people assume there is?

I know you have to re-bid sometimes when a reseved price is on the item but to go that mad with the bidding..well  :idiot2:  Perhaps PK should look into proxy bidding then?

Like most all auction places, if the item starts at $1.00 you can bid $75.00. The system will place the dollar bid and if someone comes and bids two dollars, it will automatically bid for example $2.50 for you – up to your max bid.

If the item has a reserve of $40, starts at $1 and you bid $75, it will bid $40 for you to meet the reserve, and then proxy bid as normal up to $75.

If you are the only bidder, the item has no reserve, and starts at $1, you can bid $75, and if no one else bids, your winning bid is $1

If there are no other bidders and you bid $1, then $2, then $3, and so on, your high bid will be the winning bid. There wouldn’t be any sense in out bidding yourself like this unless you just wanted to be nice to the seller, which isn’t such a bad thing.  😉

I thought there was proxy bidding.  Well, I hope that guy that has bid against himself so many times comes through for those ladies & isn’t just goofin’ around! -KK
