 Okay so I am a  new seller and lord knows with all the people online these days NOT doing theright thing; Its hard for people to trust one another. I know that when people come to my website or see a listing for me here or anywhere else, They want feedback. Seller reviews comments from buyers ect. Well when your the new kid on the block those can be hard to get at first. So My question is this… Is it unethical if you will (Sorry Business Major here lol) to give away some panties, photo sets and videos contingent on getting seller reviews and buyer feedback? I welcome any response or advice but be kind please I am a gentle soul 🙂

Welcome!
By giving away, do you mean ‘send for free?’September 27, 2011 at 10:56 pm #27218ArispantiesMember:ohmy: I hadn’t thought about shipping costs… Well the videos and photos would be electronic so there would be none there as for the panties… I don’t know; if I did charge a fee it would be the same 5 us dollars for standard shipping.
September 27, 2011 at 11:05 pm #27219DrThongMemberHello!
I wouldn’t quite say it’s unethical but giving away freebees just to get feedback probably isn’t the best way to go about it! As far as I know you’re selling on MUPS at the moment, which is a good start in gaining feedback from buyers after your first few sales. You could also consider becoming Panty Trust verified to increase buyer confidence, which means that buyers will know you’ve been independently verified and know that you’re reliable and genuine (as well as becoming part of a cool sellers community 🙂 )
Don’t stress about not having any feedback just yet, everyone has to start somewhere :woohoo:
September 27, 2011 at 11:11 pm #27220PenelopeMemberHey Arispanties,
Its a really good question. I found myself in the same position when I first started. Its a vicious circle. For me, what worked, was getting up my auctions On MyUsedPantyStore.com and making a profile, advertising what i sell in detail on my auctions and making a profile that I felt helped the ” buyer ” see a lil bit about who I was etc. Then it was a case of being active, talking to people, should conversations about panties come up, i’d mention i had some ” insert panty here ” and ask questions, see what they liked, Should this been something I could offer, I would initiate a mini sales pitch like we all do and if they seemed to go with it, id link them to an auction, obviously if not then sales pitch averted and back to chatting haha.
If You are good with computers, Possible getting a blog / twitter so you can post and get followers to be ” following ” you to to speak. That way you can post pictures, what your upto getting your name out there.
Also there are several sites to affiliate yourself with, this and Myusedpantystore being one of them to get your ball rolling. Perhaps if you are looking to set up camp as a seller and be around for a while, then perhaps take a peek at pantytrust.com . Panty Trust is a non-profit, independent consumer advocacy organization for the used panty fetish scene operated by its members.
Everyone has there settling in story, and here was mine, If you wanted anymore help please feel free to email me or just post a reply

Penelopesusedpanties.comSeptember 27, 2011 at 11:17 pm #27222ArispantiesMemberThank you so much… I guess thats why they call you the Doctor lol :cheer: 🙂 I wasn’t planning on doing it endlessly haha just a couple of times so I can demonstrate positive vibes I guess. I see what your saying though. As for Panty Trust I do not have anything against them or their affiliates, I Personally just don’t like the idea of being restricted or charged for offering a service.
If I did it I would have something of a drawing you know like sign up to win free blah blah in exchange leave feedback and pay S/H seems fair enough to me if its out in the open…… Right? :side:September 27, 2011 at 11:22 pm #27223ArispantiesMember:S Penelope. Its nice to know A… Not Alone and B… It gets better lol Thanks so Much 🙂 I do plan to be around awhile at least until graduation so a couple of years I know in Time people will see I guess I am just hoping to be proactive
September 27, 2011 at 11:47 pm #27224DrThongMemberI guess that would be one way of going about it! Pen also makes a good point about setting up a blog or Twitter so that people can see you’re active and get a sense of who you are 🙂
As for Panty Trust, I’d say it’s the opposite of restrictive, buyers recognise the seal and know it’s affiliated with sellers who are committed and honest – from my own experience, my sales pretty much doubled once I joined 🙂 It’s something to think about, at least in the future if you’re planning on staying on the scene for a while 🙂

There is nothing worse then sellers who are stuck up their own ass that just sell sell sell. This is not just a buisness for some of us, Its about being part of a community, enjoying a fetish and getting to share it with others and i mean, yeah we make profit from it, so why spoil it with cold hard selling?
I always think of Panty trust similar to if i was buying food. If there was a sticker on the packet of whatever i was getting, and one had Fresh on it, and one didnt, id want to buy the fresh one as i know that this product is being sold to me, to be better then the others. Thats not to say i wouldnt like the non fresh product, but this one is an exclusive range. haha .. if that makes sense. The fact that the trust is run by its sellers is almost like an extention of a panty family. The girls all love what they do and when someone taktes an interest to join, they must uphold a particular ettiquette to ensure were reccomending the best sellers out there.
Its not just a case of chucking a fee someones way and chucking up a.gif image. Its about morals and trust, and for me, its a badge of pride. An elite review thats constantly reminding me why i sell, and why i offer a great service.
haha I have been selling for almost a year, and a member of panty trust a year in November and not once have i felt limited to who i can liase with. I personally wouldnt want to affiliate myself with certain sites, or use certain methods of pay i know to not support adult payments, and because the site is run by its members, should there be an issue we vote TOGETHER. Its not just one big boss man calling the shots haha.
Its not for everyone, But Im not just anyone, So i knew it was for me.

I find it amusing that a thread can be named ‘Business Ethics’ and yet there is nothing in it that suggests the person cares for them.
