I now have a PO Box so I can accept payments by postal order and cash, but I’m still in a dither about cheques. I’m not going to give my full name to anyone, to protect my own privacy and safety, so would only accept cheques with the name left blank for me to fill in. However, once I’d deposited the cheque into my bank, would the customer then be able to find out through the bank whose account their cheque had been deposited into? Do any other sellers have experience of accepting cheque payments?

    Jennifer-
Yes, at least here in the USA most banks either send you your actual used checks, or make images of them available on line. Even if they didn’t, the check writer would certainly have the right to ask their bank for details of who cashed one of their checks. I personally wouldn’t accept a personal check. Why not use a moneyorder instead? The sender of the moneyorder does not ever see the cashed moneyorder. This would be a much safer route if you wanted to protect your privacy. Just my two cents.? :whistling:

In the UK, privacy is paramount and there is no way on earth anyone can find out your identity.? What I have been doing for years is actually giving out mine or a friends bank account details (with their permission lol)? (just the initial, surname, bank account number and sort code) and telling the customer to post the cheque or go and pay in cash to a local branch of the bank I say.

I have checked with the banks I use if this is safe and they have assured me that its 100 percent ok to do this and that no information such as my address or sensitive information can be found out because of the data protection act.

They also say that most business freely make their bank account details available for customers to be able to pay with bank transfer and direct debit etc etc … there is no way a customer can get any more information about you.

I guess also that its a little different for me as I am currently not living in the UK so if someone ever did find out my UK address through my bank they would be confronted with a very large dog and a 6 foot wide, 6 foot tall bouncer friend of mine.

I have been doing this for years and can honestly say I havent experienced any problems in doing it this way whatsoever and its very quick and easy. However, I cannot speak for all Banks here and it seems that the USA bank system is entirely different from Europe.

Best thing to do would be phone up your bank, explain that you are going to sell “erotic art” or something and ask how safe is your information protected if you were to give out your Bank Details to customers to pay you?

Thanks! I think I’ll stick with cash and postal orders (I think these are the same as a moneyorder) for now and ask my bank about cheques. In the UK we aren’t sent the cheque once it’s been cashed, but I’m not sure how much you can find out if you ask.

Though considering how much trouble people have finding my house when I tell them exactly where it is, maybe I shouldn’t worry too much!

Hi Cherry, Welcome to Panty Hog … Most girls do use Nochex for the UK paying customers – this thread is about customers who do not have a credit or debit card or just wish to pay an alternative way.

For advice on Panty Selling, check out the new Panty University (Used Panty Selling School; link top left) and if you have any questions after reading what is there, just fire away 🙂
