christmas decorations+ holiday poll

Ok, my neighbors are starting to get decked out for Christmas already, I’ve even seen Christmas trees for sale. does no one realise its not even thanksgiving yet?:ohmy:
what is with this madness!
Any way, what are the top 3 things on your holiday wish list?
my top 3 are an Ipod touch, a Nintendo Ds 😆 and bigger fish tank.

I’ll admit,I started decorating for Xmas myself as the weather seems rather nice for that here. ( I haven’t put the tree up yet because of Thanksgiving not even has taken place as you said )although,I have gotten into some egg nog alittle earlier then normal! 🙂
— By the time Xmas is here,one will be so glad it’s overwith for awhile —

Anyway,3 things on my Holiday wish list eh??
1.) a new computer system as I have repaired
mine and used it for things to numerious
to talk about
2.) a motorcycle
3.) more drums as I just seem to never/ever have
enough of those things

We have a tradition of putting up the tree on December 1st and no sooner. Thanksgiving deserves to have an entire month to itself.

I love Christmas! Any excuse to get together with loved ones to party is a big tick in my book. We put the tree up on the 1st of December and take it down on the 5th of January because that’s La Befana (an Italian tradition, where a witch comes and brings the presents). I’m half french, half italian so it’s a way we remember our family’s roots by taking down the tree and having lunch together.
My sister and I also paint a reindeer (no! a papier mache one people!) together to put under the tree for decoration. Last year it was covered in a cheetah hide we’d made using glitter. Messy but super fun! I’m thinking ow a tartan theme this year.

I hate it when stores put up decorations in October(we don’t have Thanks Giving here)! It’s crazy. Also I hate stores that play carols throughout December. It’s too much cheer!
