Comment Feature Added

Hi Guys,

We’ve added a commenting feature to the news items. You can now click the comment link under the news items and post a comment about that item. We have it set so that only those logged in can post comments. However, we can allow guests to comment as well. What do you think? Should guests be allowed to comment, or should it stay as is? Any thoughts on having the comment option in general?

I think comments should be member-only.  Even while using an online alias, there needs to be some smidge of accountability for things that are said (especially anything that could be perceived as slander or accusation).  I don’t think it’s too much to ask that commenters be members, since membership is free and easy to sign up for.  🙂

Main Page Headlines.
Normally a news item is listed at the top of the page and moves down one when the next item is used.
Yesterday ”Im Back ”feauturing Cindy was the first item ,it has now gone completely from the page.is this an error.Does not appear in recently added now either so can you explain

If people would like to comment on any subject regards Panty Hog all they need do is join up.
Having a free for all is only inviting misuse in my opinion.
Members only allows right to reply which is only fair.
Just my opinion.  :unsure:

Yes, Cindy’s news item got zapped by mistake.  :cry:  It should be fixed soon.

HAHAHA .. you know I think we should let it go .. that item was jinxed from day 1 and it took me a quite a few attempts to even manage to get it to PK.

I will submit a nice new shiny news item shortly .. that one is now out of date anyway as my waiting list is now to October!!!

.. Fear not .. I may be vanished but Im certainly not going anywhere lol

I think after the misuse of the comment feature on the Gallery episode it’s best to keep comments on News items etc to registered and logged in members. Keeps everything above board and accountabvle as Karen said  B)

Well, I figured that keeping the comments open only to registered members would be the way to go. On the other hand, I figured that I’d throw it out there for discussion. I’ve noticed that someone has been busy giving some of the news stories low ratings. Might have to remove that I suppose.

Hey by the way…welcome back Leatherz you’ve been awfully quiet lately. As a matter of fact a lot of people have been. I hope everyone is doing well.

I’ve tested out the comment feature now and it works really well? B)

What is with some people that they have to start down rating anything they see posted?? Well maybe allowing only registered users to rate everything is the way to go?? I’m willing to bet that if the rating should who had rated (and what rating they gave) the down rating would stop, there are always asshats in the world who just love to down anything.? My message to all asshats is still ….
