We deleted a spam post here yesterday from Conniespanties. I’ve now been made aware that she went ahead and started going down the memberlist sending emails to all the panty sellers. Those that have been here awhile have heard it before, if you have new a service for panty sellers or buyers, let us know and we’ll be happy to help you get the word out. If instead you abuse the site and our members by sending spam, you do nothing but damage to your new business.

Thank you to those that reported this. Please continue to let me know if a member here has sent you spam so we can block them from Panty Hog.

As far as payment processing thing, it may sound good to those looking for an answer, but unfortunately besides being too expensive, it won’t work (for long at least) anyway. It is against the rules of a merchant account to act as a third party payment processor. They can sneak around and attempt to cover their tracks, but eventually someone will get upset about something and turn them in. Once the merchant account provider learns they are billing for a third party and for adult items to boot, the merchant account will be closed which will then leave all the panty sellers and their customers hanging, or worse yet, cause them to lose their money. Sellers, please respect your buyers by not putting their funds in danger.

By the way, if you are willing to pay “$1+10% percent per transaction, a $15 month fee, and a $40 set up fee” you can get your own merchant account for the same or less.

Well, she’s going to some ppl’s sites/blogs too because ALL my email accounts were spammed  O_o

I only have one email address through this forum and somehow I received the same email in all my accounts  :angry:

I naively accepted a couple of links to exchange a while back…I am going to remove them

I got that and an email a few days ago too asking for a link exchange with her and her 5 ‘friends’. She says that her and her ‘friends’ all sell panties, I looked at the sites and they all looked almost exactly the same. Funny that. Grrrrrr.  :angry:

She did. And strangely it was considered spam even before there was any awareness that she sent emails. Smells a bit like jealousy. If a merchant account can be found for those prices please post the links. Any body that’s been in business for a while knows there is  no chance of getting an account for those prices. As far as the legality read the terms and conditions of PayPal, 2Checkout and even Alertpay or any other similar service.. The only thing different here is the wiillingness to deal with SOME panty sites. If the post was still up you would have had a chance to see that they wern’t willing to take just any site. This was simply a caculated business decision with the intent of being profitable to a few people that seemed to be handling thereselves professionally. I’m sorry to see such unfairness. I though this was a cummunity that was here to look out for each other. Connie meant absoloutly no harm and if it was poor judgement then why didn’t someone just contact her abnd give her some advice rather than attack her. She’s here with me right now. She thought she was posting in the right place. Tabitha

Interesting that you view “advertising” as coming here out of the blue, ignoring one of the only few rules we have here by posting nothing but a pitch to your new thing, and then after it was removed going through our memberlist and spamming every email address you could find.

One of the main reasons Panty Hog is here is to provide a place where panty sellers and used panty fetish related services can get their word out to the community at no cost. I have been working here daily for three years along with our great contributing members, and our sponsors who pay us money to help keep Panty Hog up and alive to make certain that people have a place where they can advertise for free. There are an endless number of ways to get your word out here the right way. I’ll be goddamned if I’m going to let you shit on me, Panty Hog, our members, and our sponsors and not say anything about it just so you can make a quick buck from all of our work that we give away for free.

The forum is suppose to be for offering information related to panty selling. How would that be shitting on anybody. Your making yourself look bad PK and obvious that my first instinct was right – jealousy. You confessed in your original post that Connie’s post was removed before you were aware of any emails. Therefore how was it spam? As well,the email subject line was offered as a suggestion and it was sent from another panty seller. My God what the hell is wrong with that? The link you posted as to merchant accounts doesn’t list anyplace where a merchant account could be obtained for the prices that Connie posted and you know that. You’ve made yourself and Pantyhog look bad PK.

This is getting a bit silly. Yes, out of the blue. You may very well have been one of the first to post your link in our directory three years ago and received traffic from Panty Hog all of that time, but you never posted once in our forum in those three years until you wanted to promote your new venture.

Several of the results on that Google search page have terms below what you are offering.

If asking people to follow the four rules we have on this site, and wanting to protect Panty Hog members from spammers makes me “look bad”, then so be it.

Connie, I have to agree with PK .. nobody even knows WHO you are .. Its irrelevant how long you have been a member here – Ive been a member from day 1 and I don’t think you have even said one word to me privately or on the forum for that matter.  If you were a contributing member to this forum then I am sure we would have enjoyed your post and maybe even an email .. but NOT from a stranger suddenly turning up and going full throttle into “sales pitch”.

PK charges for PROPER businesses to advertise and I agree that it was downright rude for you to post here out of the blue, THEN SPAM EVERYONE through EMAIL!!! – this is a community and I can see why PK felt you were taking advantage … jealousy? Oh is that the best you can come up with?  No, try RESPECT .. something you don’t seem to have much of and IMAGODDESS doesn’t seem to grasp either.

Pay for your business advertising like the rest of us who are SERIOUS about our business, people don’t like things forced down their throats, especially from someone nobody has ever even heard of.  mad
