I hardly ever admit to crying, did it the other day watching Forst Gump. Last time I admitted in public I was ridiculed. I had bought a tape of the events of 1977, the year my dead brother was born. When I told the guy I got it from that it had made me cry, a few of my friends who where there at the time started to take the piss out of me. So I am wondering is cry a sing of strength or weakness.

This is just me but i guess it would depend on why a person was crying that…

like in your case something sentimental.. I see nothing wrong with that…

Now when people cry just cuz they want attention that annoys me…

sometimes the drunken cry is annoying, but that really only annoys me when I am the drunken crier… (that was me last night)

I guess it comes down to why the person is crying…

I wouldn’t call crying a strength or a weakness. It’s just a fact of life that we are sometimes moved to tears.

In my personal experience: men who tease other men about crying, and other emotional responses, are in deep denial about something.
