Dating…Trying to hard or what?

Hi, umm I gotten out of a three year relationship with a person whom just wanted things for her self and realy didnt nothing from me excpet food,work and do all the house cleaning. Well I dont know if I should be going out and looking for a gf. Iam though lookking for a friend for now. I am on some dating services and some times I think to my self am I trying to hard or what. But its been awhile since I have been on a date, and would like to do so, but I dont know hte wya about doing with out making me look desperate or feel like I am. Plus I very shy with dealing asking some one out cause I been shot down more times than I had gfs or dates. So if any one has any sugestions or advice it would be a good help.

Sorry to hear things are down for you at the moment. We’ve all been through this at one point or another, and know it sucks. It has always seemed to me that when your actively looking nothing happens, but then when you get involved and busy with life, someone new comes into the picture. My advice is to be active and have fun with things that interest you. You’ll feel better, and being involved in activities will expose you to a new flock of ladies. I know you’ve heard it before, and soon after a break up its hard to believe, but love will find you again  smt . It always does. Just think of the excitement you have to look forward to in falling in love again. Smile and keep your chin up!  🙂
