Do NOT slag off other sellers

Every now and again you get a new seller who thinks she is the best thing since sliced bread.

She puts down other sellers just to big herself up. Bad move. It only makes you look naive, immature, insecure and rather stupid.

Here’s an example:

Many of the other web sites that claim to sell worn or “dirty” panties are either gateways to porn or webcam sites, or are so loaded with spyware and cookie catchers that visiting these sites will overload your inbox with spam and make your visit anything but private. Oh dear.

Some of the panty farms may do this, and we all know that one panty site does do this but most sellers are amateurs who would never do this.

She is soooo experienced and soooo knowledgeable that she claims…

Do yourself a favour newbie sellers. By all means sell yourself. You are the biggest asset you have got but do not do it at the expense of other panty sellers who know more than you do, who you may need to go to for help and advice in the very near future.

It sounds to me as she is trying to convince herself more then anyone else, and I particularly liked the way she claimed:

How can a newbie seller claim to know so much about the panty community? Her little site has only been up what.. 3 weeks?

This girl obviously has some sort of psychological ego problem – there are LOADS of SUPER, GREAT, HONEST and FABULOUS sellers out there and she cannot claim to be the only genuine one and slate all the others off on her site. Its downright rude, disrespectful and unjustified!

OH MY GOD I just noticed … she isn’t even panty trust verified LOLOL – talk about making herself into the panty village idiot!

Errr… I agree that this is a bad, bad way to make an entrance. To me, it seems that her insulting language is more a product of un-originality than actual maliciousness.

There are lots of other sites with wording pretty much word for word like this girl’s – a list of “promises” and no acknowledgment that other decent sellers even exist. I assume many of these are girls that have been laughed off PantyHog… but who knows.

Additionally, maybe she has been primarily involved in “other” sites that cater to dishonest sellers who copy each other’s profiles verbatim, and DO use spyware and spam. I know I fell in with the wrong crowd early on… and it didn’t give me the impression that there were many decent girls out there, either. I had NO idea that there were such a close-knit family of sellers who watched out for each other and kept the business honest.

None of that is an excuse – if you are going to present yourself as a business, and utilize the resources provided by a group of well, your competitors… you may as well show a modicum of respect. I guess I’m being generous here because I made some very major gaffes myself as a newbie, simply out of being green and not seeing the whole picture. I did my best to make things right through words and actions, and was graciously forgiven and accepted into the community.

So, um, say you’re sorry and get to know some of your wonderful sister sellers!

There are sellers and sites who have thriving businesses built on dishonest tactics and shameless behaviour. Warning others about such despicable people/places is always a good thing.

Implying to be above the average hard working seller for the sake of making everyone else appear unprincipled is just poor and immature practice. Even if she was referring to myblablablastore. Even if she got her facts from Joe’s blog.

Ultimately she is a selfish cow, no one but her will benefit from such a lame attempt to warn people, if we can indeed call it a warning.

We have all made gaffes (great word! Italians uses it a lot!), recognising it is the hard bit, doing something about it comes naturally for some people.

I thank GodPK everyday for this place and its members, I’m sure that if it wasn’t for the Hog and its members I would have moved on from Panty World a long time ago….

I didn’t mean to imply that she was trying to do good or warn anyone… just that she had basically copied from other sites and taken their shady, dishonest business practice for the standard instead of really having any sense for herself… and I gave her the benefit of the doubt that it was done sort of naively.

Maybe that was too generous? I guess we’ll see if her pages reflect any of our suggestions, or if her comments here show she has taken our suggestions to heart.

Otherwise… I deserve a spanking too 😡
