epassporte, any good for UK users?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experience of using epassporte, particularly in the UK?

I’m looking for new cam sites to use and I’ve found a US one that will pay me by epassporte – any cam recommendations also welcome!

I’ve had a look at the epassporte site and I can’t work out what they charge, are they expensive?

Also it seems it would be easy enough to withdraw cash in ?UK from an ATM, even though I’d be paid in $US. Do I have this right, that’s how it works?

If I do open an account with them would it be something my panty guys  :kiss: could use to pay me with?

Any advice is welcome, I’m going crosseyed from searching ‘adult chat’… ‘adult cam’… ‘cam chat’ all day! Gah! Why does it have to be so difficult to find the information I need  🙁 I just want to get naked!

I don’t know about UK users particularly, but I have just set up an account as a buyer and I have to say I was mighty impressed! 

The way the sign-up is written you’re prompted to call your credit card company *right away* to get the penny-check amount.  Thus, the account is security verified within minutes and it all works like one seamless process, instead of a tedious extra step that takes days (if it gets done at all).  I know I’ve lost sales in the time betwixt sign-up and penny check!

The other thing that I found really impressive is that ePassporte has strong ties with the adult community.  It’s a very popular processor for adult b2b payments, which is how I happened to be using it.  And since they’ve become a sponsor for an “industry” association (http://xbiz.com/news_piece.php?id=13125) it certainly looks like they mean to stick by adult businesses.

The drawback is that there’s a pretty high charge to “load” your ePassporte account with funds ($5 US for up to $100), plus a small 25 cent transaction fee to pay somebody.

Unfortunately, they don’t have any details about using ePassporte to accept payments on the site, you have to email them for more info.  I plan to do this and will report back on what they say.  Have you got this info Jennifer?

Thanks Cherie, I’m going to give it a go! I’m mostly planning on using it to receive funds, so hopefully that will minimise costs, for me anyway! I’ll offer it as an option to my panty guys too once I have it set up  🙂

just for reference i am in the uk and have been paid by a usa company into it.
it does get converted into uk pounds,
had no problems using the atm card either.
