Expensive or cheap panties?

I was just wondering – what sort of knickers are preferred?  Expensive ones, or cheap ones, or just any old ones?

Is it the quality of the knickers or is it the quality of the contents that counts?

Speaking personally, I don’t care whether the undies are fashionable, expensive, lacy, or whatever.  Any pair of undies that holds your sexy smell, and that isn’t fraying at the edges from over-use, will satisfy me fine.  Some people say that plain-old cotton briefs are best for saving the scent.  I haven’t encountered other types of undies that often — but from what little experience I’ve had, I am inclined to agree.

There’s another issue.  What turns you on?  It would turn me on to know that you are turned on!  Are you the kind of lady who just “creams her shorts,” if those shorts are of a certain kind?  Then those kinds of undies might be the best ones for you to share.

I’ve read this debate on the forum re cotton versus other materials in panties/knickers.  You know it doesn’t matter what a panty is made from, there is always a little patch of cotton to soak up any pussy juice.  I suppose plain old cotton with the larger gussets may mean more juice? or more staining? I dunno.  If mine are anything to go buy big cotton knickers catch more!

Personally I go for plain cotton, but sometimes I like a saucy little lacy number depending on what I’m wearing or who I’m wearing them for  😉

What turns me on? Hmm, buying new underwear and watching the guy behind me in the queue trying not to be seen peeking at my new knickers.  :rolleyes: that’s pretty cool.

I don’t expect anyone will answer that they like cheap better…  I would guess that some men want a panty that they think is sexy (e.g. thongs or bright red or black lace).  Those tend to cost more than a pack of Fruit of the Loom.

Bright red thongs and little black lace numbers, although sexy can be quite tacky and cheap don’t you think?  Whereas snug fitting cotton ones can be fairly expensive…hmm, perhaps the question should have been:

O.K., now you’re confusing us poor guys!  :laugh:  Is it plain cotton versus silky/lacy/fancy, or is it the act of buying panties, and having a man see you buy it?

The question I would ask you is, what kind of panties would it please you the most to send to someone?  How might the experience be made as positive and as memorable as possible for you?  Who knows, maybe the answer is different for you from day to day.  That’s fine, too.  I would be sure to ask you.

You’re right, my preference changes as much as the weather, cotton is comfy with lots of staining and lacy/silky little things are sexier but smellier because my kitty can’t breathe as much as with cotton.  But then it depends what I’m wearing…and the weather…sometimes I go commando if it’s really warm weather but that’s when I find I do need knickers after all because the tops of my thighs get so damp and slippery.

Wow, if I get any hornier and wetter I’ll have to see about getting a shut off valve fitted by the time I’m 50 just so I can walk around safely!!
