In the US, if you use Priority Mail (which costs $3.85), parcels will usually arrive in 3 days.? First class mail is cheaper ($1-2) but can take more like a week to get to the other side of the country, plus, if you pay for Priority Mail online (as I do) then delivery confimation is included.?

I don’t really know about other parts of the world, but airmail packages from here take approx 1 week to get to destinations in the UK and Europe; pack your panties carefully in a zip-loc bag and they should still be plenty fresh on arrival.? And FWIW, it’s not the US postal service that causes the delay, it’s the fact that ALL international parcels are screened through customs.

Courier services such as UPS and Fed Ex are really out of the question for US panty sellers;? minimum per-package cost with UPS is like $9 and fedex is even more!? That’s in the US btw, I’m sure to UK etc would be even more.? Imagine taking $9 out of a $25 sale just to cover shipping, or trying to charge anybody that much to send a pair of panties!

That said, there are certain types of items that would probably be best sent via courier.? Like baggies full of poo.? :P? But I think, in these instances, the customer is probably going to be ok with the extra expense etc. :rolleyes:

I agree 100% with Jarael! I posted on a couple of threads when I first started. Some were comments on interesting stories, & I enjoyed posting on questions asked. Then those threads become forgotten and people either comment on most recent or create new threads. That was one thing that I used to look foward to after a long stressful day at work.

Resurrecting old threads is fine as long as it’s a topic of debate or interest that can be considered relevant now – because newbies to the forum may like to put their point or comment across.

One of the problems with resurrecting old threads like these is that if it’s a ‘wanted’ by a buyer who hasn’t been here for ages and ages, then it, well, just isn’t relevant anymore and we risk having literaly dozens of ‘I can do that for you, please contact me’ posts which believe me gets very boring after a while.

What does everyone else think?

Old Threads.
I have been back to about day one and read most postings,it is good to see names who once posted and became friends and find out what was topical then as compared to now.
Most questions can be put again but not relating to a specific seller who may have moved on,and especially those requests where ” i can do that ” crop up.
This is only my opinion others may have different views but that’s why we are all here.
