Hello,

I was wondering if there was help for the Gallery somewhere?

I figured out a few things by trial and error.?
For example, under User Gallery, Gallery Manager, everyone should have the first checkbox under “Published” checked.? However, if you check the other box (after “Share this Gallery”), then any other member can access your gallery!? There were 4 others like this when I was working on my gallery, so I went in and UNchecked this box, and now I can no longer access them.? Which is, I think, how these sellers want things.

The thing I’d like to figure out now, is how to put my photos in the order I want?? I’ve figured out how to change the main gallery pic, but I’d still like to shuffle them around.? Any suggestions?

Um, I’m not much help, but I’d just like to add that I found setting up the gallery difficult too! It was all trial and error, I’d have liked some information about how to use it, that would have saved me a lot of time.

Hi Ladies,

The gallery sets up the photos in the order that you add them. If you want them in a different order, you’ll need me to modify the database, the only way at this time to do it yourself would be by deleting them, and then re-uploading them in the order that you want them. I’ll take a look and see if I might be able to modify the gallery script to allow re-ordering through the user’s management area.

I’ve tried and failed to make a gallery but I blame nothing on you, my com is having the computer equivelant of a bad hair day! It’s doing nowt I ask of it  :angry:

I actually own a novelty soft bannanna which I batter the screen with whenever it cocks up, saves me beating it to death.  :)  It’s rather theraputic actually! The narna got well used while trying to set up that gallery I can tell you.  :rolleyes:

Yeah, there’s a distinct lack of legs in the gallery! I’ll walk over and see what I can do  :)  I’ll have another pop at it and PM you my rant if I can’t get it to work.  🙂

Hmm Gallery had me growling today? 😛

.. Uploaded a couple of new pics and realised that I didnt put commas between my keywords.? I went back to try and open up my gallery … gone .. cant edit it at all? :cry:.

I have read your great instructions PK on how to make a gallery and upload but how can one actually access their gallery afterwards? :huh:?

I tried both the Gallery Manager (no luck, I can only change my introduction and also who can view my gallery).. I went to upload area, but then that was only for uploading (obviously) .. so if there is a secret door that Im missing could someone point me in the right direction .. and I was hoping to shift my pics around too but cant do that either without being able to find the “way in”.? ?:whistling:

Hi Cindy,
It should work like this:

• select create/edit gallery link from your user menu
• Click the top icon that says create new gallery…
• check box next your gallery name, click edit icon (pencil on paper

You should then be at the gallery manager where you can change key words, descriptions, etc. PM me if you still have trouble, and we’ll get you set up.
