Although I’m a flash bitch and have a great little laptop for using on Second Life I also have a 10yr old who is glued to it so I need a graphics card for my PC.

I’ve checked SL’s system requirements and recommendations and have got as far as identifying some possible purchases in eBay BUT what the hell do I do with the card when I get it? I’m guessing I can’t just balance it on top of my box-thing with some blu-tac to stop it slipping off?

Do I have to take the back of the CPU and fit it in somewhere?

    :crazy2:

PC= personal computer. So I’m assuming you need the graphics card in your desktop and not the laptop.

but you got it  :). you have to take off the central processing unit’s shell and you will see ports. the graphics (video/audio) cards can be placed in any of the ports depending on your model.

[You may or may not need tiny screws to secure the card within the port. Screws aren’t entirely necessary but mine happen to come with them. Ports are snug, so the card will be secure on it’s own].

Once the CPU shell is back on, make sure you plug the monitor into the video port in the back of the CPU.

    Hope that helps  smt  smt

If it’s for your PC it’s easy:

If it’s for your notebook it could be difficult

Hope this helps… Good Luck!  🙂
