Getting rid of new panty smell

Hi there ladies and gents!  🙂

I was hoping for a tip or two about getting rid of the new panty smell!  I bought a specific panty, laundered it, wore it, hand washed it, and wore it again…  It still smells of detergent and “new clothes smell”.  Is washing-and-wearing many times the only way to get rid of new-panty smell?

Hi Karen
Try using unscented washing liquid and conditioner.  Normally the sensitive ones are good.  I have to admit I dont seem to have the trouble you are experiencing so it must just be down to the detergent you use.

Hi Karen my sweet! I’d try hanging them on the washing line for a while, that tends to take the smell away.
