Hello Ladies!

I’m in one of those new-hairstyle-needed moods, and I was thinking of having my hair cut in bangs.? What do ya’ll think?

Err..  It would really depend on what you mean by “bangs”.

My suggestion: if you’re going with something dramatically different/shorter, shell out for a good senior stylist and sit down with him/her.  Discuss needs and ideas, look at pictures and take your time.  The psychological trauma of a bad haircut isn’t worth whatever you’ll save by going with a bargain stylist; go to someone with real talent, and no matter what style you get it will end up looking good.

Hehehe…would you believe that five years ago, just after my son was born, I had it all whacked off to about 3″ long?? A proper dyke cut that was!

Don’t worry Cindy, I have no intention of hacking it off this time, I love being able to pull off the “Lady Godiva” thing too well.? I’m just thinking of having it cut into a fringe (bangs as we say here in the US) around my face.? Right now it’s all the same length, front and back, and my styling choices are to have it all pulled away from my face or all hanging down into my face, I’m wondering if a little fringe (say just above eyebrow level) would be at all flattering.

What do ya’ll think?

I did it girls!? Went yesterday and had it layered, about 4″ (and all my split ends!) trimmed off the bottom, and shorter layers around my face.? It’s so funny, she didn’t take all that much length off, but the weight of hair removed was sufficient that my tresses went “sproing!” up into lovely soft curls.? Thus it now seems an awful lot shorter.? ?:laugh:
