Hi, all. Since rejoining as MaskManN95 (I used to be footedpajamas), I have been in touch with maybe three or four girls off of here. One of them, when I was running off a future sale idea to her, asked me about my mp4 capabilities, as she has the capability to make brief videos, apparently.

So, I briefly looked up “mp4” to get an idea of what it was, and one site makes it appear as if it’s a paid version of mp3. I’m not sure how correct that is. Does anyone know where to freely download mp4 players? It would be a great thing to have. Might open up a whole new world for me here on the Hog.

You might already be able to play MP4 files if you’ve got Quicktime installed.  The coding is essentially identical since the MP4 technology is based on Apple’s Quicktime .MOV format.

Failing that, a quick Google for “mp4 player download” should solve your problem – I got a long list, of which these are just the top hits:

When I’ve sent video clips to people I use rapidshare – http://www.rapidshare.com its free.
All I do is upload the clip, send the code to the client, they download it and let me know when its done, then I go back and kill it so’s noone can hack in and download it.
Its worked brilliantly for me  🙂
