Has anyone else had trouble getting any kind of customer service response at ebanned? I had a question about one of my auctions so I decided to email them and ask. First there is no email contact listed they just have that worthless help form thingy just like ebay. Finally I happened to find a an email address for them posted by someone in their forums. I sent my my email and haven’t heard boo from them in almost two weeks. Not even a we’ll get back to you.
This is why we were happy to get away from ebay and now I guess ebanned has grown so big that they don’t care about the users anymore either. I’m really pissed. Has anyone else had this problem too?

I don’t care for that site much. I had a customer service issue some time ago that was never resolved to my satisfation and the issue was about me getting stiffed by one of their sellers. I did get an email from the dude that runs the place a good while later with the typical we’re not responsible bs. I haven’t bid there since and they’re basically into mostly selling x-rated dvds now anyway. My advice is write off your loss and leave that place to the panty selling newbies. I don’t know if you are in the UK, but if you are we have plenty of good auction sites here.
February 22, 2005 at 5:34 am #1664Kashia RyderMemberEbanned started out really cool but I found that the number of hassles and headaches out-weighed the good aspects of the site in the end. The customer service was never an issue for me, but the quality of the buyers and sellers was quick to decline. After 3 non-paying bidders (who left ME negative feedback claiming I didn’t send!) in a row, I quit selling there and started my own site.

Are you not selling anymore?

October 5, 2005 at 8:02 pm #4406jazzyMemberRather than hope to get a sale in an auction site why not have your own site.State products for sale with price then rely on regulars for all orders which are paid in advance.
Maybe it’s a question of cost,i don’t know what it takes to have your own site,if it is expensive i then understand.
Best wishes to all you lovely Ladies.? smtjust a thought.

October 5, 2005 at 8:24 pm #4407lizzies_pantiesMemberHey,
I love running my own site, I think most people would agree its not so much the cost of running your own site that can become a problem, its generally the amount of time you put into the site, I dont think you really realise until you get your own site how time consuming it actually is, well at least for me anyway, but we all continue because we enjoy doing what we do and being in the used panty community 😉

October 6, 2005 at 12:19 am #4409darkhairedkarenMemberIt is definitely a lot less work to sell through an auction site. Plus it’s much easier to get traffic/potential buyers. Ebanned has been good to me so far… No problems yet with non-paying bidders.

I think there are good points to both really itas all personal taste, with auction you get the buzz of bidding on someones panties…. but with websites I think they feel alot more personal…. (obviously lol)… oh well thats just mt opinion for what its worth lol…xxlizxx
October 7, 2005 at 1:23 am #4423PhantomXMemberI think if I’m honest, I’d rather deal with the individual sites.? I’ve always found the ladies that run the sites are very genuine and lovely people. 🙂
October 10, 2005 at 11:48 pm #4452ebareMemberIn defense of the ladies on auctions and eBare in particular, they too are very genuine and lovely people. We believe its really down to the auction owners to keep an eye on possible scam sellers and take action should there be any complaints.
The age old problem is that a few rogue sellers always spoil it for genuine people and the auction site owners never seem to do anything about it. Both ourselves and our regular sellers have, between us, built up our own little auction community whereby buyers trust our sellers because they appear regularly and eBare has effectively become the seller’s own site – if you see what we mean ( its late here , sorry!)
With regards to customer service – we pride ourselves on this and with regards to an auction query its usually anwered within minutes, at the latest with a couple of hours – we hate waiting for an answer so we dont expect our members to either.
Anyway – its down to personal taste and experiences, some people enjoy the variety an auction site brings others find their ideal lady and stay with her exclusively – diff’rent strokes for diff’rent folks 🙂

October 17, 2005 at 4:33 pm #4505PhantomXMemberYeah, the vast majority of the sellers within the auction sites are genuine people I?ve never really had many issues with those, in-fact I?ve dealt with some great sellers from a variety of different auction sites. :)? Although as you say there are still the odd one or two that get through and rip people off.
My issue has always been the way in which auction sites are run.? Of course these are just my own personal experiences.
At the end of the day you?re right it comes down to personal choices, my experiences will be different to those of other people, so my opinions are bound to be somewhat different. 🙂
October 30, 2005 at 11:10 am #4675lizzies_pantiesMemberHello Phantom x,
Well I have just helped my other half get eBarred back up afetr getting new auction software, I know our software runs like some of the other adult auctions that are around, however if you tell mw where your having problems I can see if I can get these improved on our site, or is it just the general customer service of the site that you disliked?
Does anybody else feel the same way, where you have problems with these systems?

… My issue has always been the way in which auction sites are run. Of course these are just my own personal experiences…Please tell me just what is the problem with the way auction sites are run. Oh and please tell me specifically your problem with Ebanned since that’s the site mentioned in the subject line of this thread. Somebody… anybody…
I see all sorts of shots taken at auction sites and the people who run them but I don’t see anyone giving just cause for those shots. The biggest complaint I’ve seen is people say they had a problem with a seller and it was not resolved to their satisfaction. Well, I’ve seen plenty of people have unreal and uneducated expectations in many aspects of life!!!!
Face it, you can get ripped off at an auction site just the same as you can get ripped off at a private site. It’s all about doing your homework and checking things out. I have NEVER been ripped off at the auction site (Ebanned) that I have allegience to and have access to any seller there that wishes to be accessable.
PhantomX, please don’t take this as some sort of attack on you. Your comments were just convenient for me to quote. It’s just that I have yet to see any justification given when people express their distaste for adult auction sites.
I just think many bad experiences can be avoided by taking advantage of the communication opportunities before any transaction takes place. An auction site is just a venue for a transaction to take place. Trying to hold it accountable for neglecting to do the proper research as a buyer is just wrong.
Phew, now I’ve vented and do I feel better!!!! I’m sure my comments are irrelevant so don’t sweat it if you ignore them. 😉 LOL

October 31, 2005 at 1:59 am #4690cherieMemberI guess the same rules apply when using an adult auction site as using ebay, eh Krooze?? Read the auction terms carefully, check the seller’s feedback, ask any questions before bidding and so on.

CherieOctober 31, 2005 at 2:10 am #4691KroozeMemberSure Cheri. But don’t limit this to online auctions. I would think that buyers should check out most everything they buy, no matter where you get it from. I guess some people are always willing to blame their misfortune on others rather than admit they were too lazy or complacent to check thingsa out first.
