Hi all,
I am new to selling my used panties and I have not yet set up a web site and before I do I wanted to know if anyone heard anything bad about moneybookers, ecount, StormPay, and Panty trust sites.
Any help is greatly appericated.Ann
February 28, 2005 at 8:27 am #1704darcyspantiesMemberHey hun, don’t bother with stormpay, they’re useless, some guy bought something off me, then after I’d sent it, he complained I hadnt (I had proof for goodness sake!) and he got his money, plus a chargeback fee so instead of me losing the $40.00, I lost $80.00. I contacted stormpay about three times a day for a month and heard nothing. They’re useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love Darcy xFebruary 28, 2005 at 7:39 pm #1705leatherznzpiceMemberHi Ann,
ok Darcy has given her opinion of StormPay, I’ve never used them so can’t add anything there.? As to the others:
Moneybookers .. buyers have to sign up with them to send money, they must also provide fairly detailed proof of ID to register their crdit card to fund their account in order to send money.? As a seller, you can opt to be a user or apply for a Merchant Account with them.? The latter involves a lot of paper work to them and providing detailes of your business; perhaps not a good idea if you wnat to keep the Tax Man from your door? :ohmy:hmy:? They can be slow to respond to emails, but that can be true of all payment processors!? Useful then but the sign up process is lenghty and can put most people off using them.? For information the details they can require (copy of ID, faxed copies of credit card front and back, and a few other items) are an attempt to prevent credit card fraud.? As with almost all processors, there are people who report good and bad experiences.
Ecount .. never used them, but what I have seen from a search on google seems to suggest they are not very good.? As a matter of interest I tried to go to their website and it was not available?
Panty Trust .. this isn’t a payment processor, but a sort of ‘verified by’ system which tries to give buyers confidence in a seller.? I’m sure others can explain this better? 🙂
Good luck with finding a payment processor, it seems to be a tough job as it is a continually changing field and of course processors see to have a to change their minds on whether the used panty trade is accceptable or not?
March 2, 2005 at 3:27 am #1712hotannieMemberWow leatherznzpice and darcy this is a big help. Thanks to both of you very much you have been very helpful. Sounds like there’s really no payment processor out there that I can turst.
Since I am new to this I wonder if it’s worth getting into this business. I am good looking with a great body so I thought I could make a few extra bucks. How do you girls deal with this stuff? I heard that some people only deal in cash and a PO box.
Well I got to think about this.
Thanks sweetie,

Although iKobo dont currently accept Mastercard, they do accept all other types of payment. They are little greedy in what they take from you but if you are in it mainly for the fun rather than the money then it shouldnt really pose a great problem.
I have an account with Moneybookers but have actually never used them. There are a couple of others out there but customers have to sign up before paying which really does put them off!
I also accept cheques etc., which is also always handy 🙂
Just whatever you do … give PayPal a VERY wide berth!!!

March 2, 2005 at 4:23 pm #1715darcyspantiesMemberHey sweetie
Cindy’s right, people get put off if they have to sign up for things and I agree with them as you’d have money all over the place if you signed up for all the accounts people use!
I have an ikobo account but haven’t used it yet, but as Cindy says Nochex are great, I just wish they’d go world wide (but that might lead to them getting crappy!!!!)I have a PO box for safety reasons as I don’t want to give out my home address, it also means people can send cash (as long as it’s wrapped up and can’t be seen through the envelope!!!!) and postal orders and cheques.
I would say if you are in it for the money, it takes a bloody lot of work to get started, getting your site seen, advertising and building up trust (as a lot of guys get screwed over and then come to us thinking we’ll do the same) But it’s a lot of fun (apart from timewasters)
I’d start up on a free site like homestead or something, see how it goes and then buy it if it is successful (homestead is free for 30 days) I wouldn’t recommend getting a site built as it would cost a fortune and be a damned lot of hassle.Hope that helps!
Darcy xxxxMarch 7, 2005 at 2:47 am #1731hotannieMemberHi Cindy and Darcy,
Thanks for the reply and yes I am in the States, Washington, I will try your suggestions they sound good. I don’t think I will retire selling my panties but I would like a few extra dollars. Plus it turns me on when someone else wants my panties after I have worn them.
I really appericate you helping my out.Bye for now hunny
Ann oxoxJanuary 12, 2006 at 6:56 am #5748BubbaTechMemberif you are in the states, there are several options that are open to you.
if you have your own sight, you can have several payment options that support all credit cards and e-checks also…
been doing the research myself, and looking for the best Rate…
good luck
Bubba
April 11, 2006 at 7:46 am #7439BHCWebmistressMemberHey there I am in Washington also. I help set girls up with an account to be able to take credit cards. I sell my panties that way mostly but have the option of just sending cash. FYI when you go and cash a check the guy knows what bank you use. So be careful.
