point of interest, plaid is plaid.
minni, your friends may be used to the way you speak or write, but others are not.
so i think that you do need to apoligize, and understand that they were/are not making fun of you it was a genuine question. since you demand understanding i think that giving a little understanding would go a long way to smooth this whole mess out.
so like i said its not any of my business, just thought it might help.October 10, 2008 at 10:53 am #23608anniMemberAnni…I took ur comments as taking tha piss & wen i replied to u i was being sarcastic.
I would think a 25 year old would understand that sarcasm doesn’t translate well in written format. That is why I always assume the best of people when I read their posts, not the worst, like you have done.
WHY pull me up on spelling??…to be so pedantic about summit so insignificant is anal…
Grammar and spelling on the internet, especially when you are running a business, are extremely important even if you think the way you spell is so damn unique and impressive.
PLIAD as in PLAYED is obvious to EVERYONE else iv spoken to guys & gals alike…..I still feel like u were intentionally talking down at me. So u can exspect NO APOLOGY outa me fo that one.
Do you even realize how childish this entire debate is? I honestly thought you meant plaid as in the stripped pattern. What a mature, sane person would do is ask if I was insulting you. Why you decided I was trying to hurt you I don’t understand. Maybe you should grow up, stop thinking about yourself and realize that everyone isn’t out to get you.
I’ve had enough of your foul and generally hostile attitude. You are the one who started this entire mess all on your own in your wacky brain.
I’m glad you realized that I was asking if you where english because you fucking said you’d PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH. Do you get it? I was never condescending. I took what you said at face value and initiated conversation with you to be social.
You really must have problems.
I hope you get the help you sorely need.
And by the way, it is libel to call someone a cock slut and racist on a public blog. You do know what libel is, right? (Now that’s good sarcasm)
October 10, 2008 at 11:25 am #23611kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkMemberI don’t normally get involved in these debates and am not planning to start now or to make any judgements.
Can I however make a general observation or two?
I thought this was supposed to be a fun site with some playful banter associated with our common interest. This whole post seems to have got totally out of control and I’m getting quite frustrated and to a certain extent bored with it.
Is it perhaps time for one of the moderators to lock the post and for any continued healthy debate to be taken off line?
Please let’s get the forum back to its fun intent and not dominated by this ongoing topic.
All said and meant without prejudice.

October 10, 2008 at 1:45 pm #23612AnnaMemberCompletely take your point jumamatt.
It looks as though there is no way forward out of this mess as the protagonist clearly will not accept that we were not having a pop at her, nor will she apologise for libelling Anni in such an offensive and public way (whether it is on PHog or her blog is irrelevant. The net is the net and as such there are laws regarding libel).
I suspect that she has gone so far now with her accusations that she can’t easily turn back without looking more silly than she does now.
Anni and myself have explained ourselves and we can’t do so any further without repeating ourselves.
Moocha appears to want to remain offended but by what exactly I still can’t tell now that we have explained our genuine confusion over the use of the word ‘plaid’.
Anni – You are certainly entitled to take this matter regarding the libel further. I would if I were you.
I’m locking this thread.
