How to contact WordPress?

Hi all
I know that some of you have had direct contact with WordPress admin and would very much like to know how you managed!!??

I went to the Contact Support http://wordpress.com/contact-support/ page and I got this:

Support Temporarily Closed

Please check the Frequently Asked Questions site.

Wordpress support is only open something like 9 to 5 during the weekdays as far as i know.

Finally WordPress “Technical Support” is back…
And I truly hope you’ll never have to seek Technical Assistance as this is the level of support you’ll get:

Me: &quot:cheer:ear WordPress,
I’m writing to ask for some guidance as to how best to use your blog system.
I use an Apple iBook running OS X 10.4.11 and use a combination of Safari (v.2.0) and Firefox (v.2.0.0.5) browsers.
I have to use this combination as neither browser is able to handle all aspects of your system on their own.
Safari must be used to edit text and Firefox for images, which is frustrating, time-consuming and certainly not fool-proof.
The problem I suffer most often is losing all the formatting on text when returning to edit or add a picture for example.
Can you offer any suggestions as to why I’m experiencing this incompatibility?
Or maybe you could suggest a browser that works best with your coding? (I have also tried Internet Explorer but as this is no longer supported or developed it’s pretty useless!).
Or do you simply not offer compatibility with Macs?

I use Firefox. Camino works but Safari has the upload problems.

Firefox  2.0.0.2 doesn’t allow me to use the visual text editor. The code text editor does allow free-typing but – like the visual editor – doesn’t provide the bar of formatting buttons. Images can be uploaded but are not recognised when sent-to-editor.  Which version do you suggest?  Any significant support welcome.

Reminds me somewhat of dealing with some computer companies and some internet companies reading this thread! – kinda sad eh?,but they always are happy to take your money if its required with no problems and your still left scratching your head about the problem(s) you have when you asked them for help in the 1st place!

Have you tried the wordpress fourm?
As they say on the support page.”If you’re still stuck the forums are useful and full of people willing to help out. News of significant issues will be posted there. ” You never know, you might find your answer(s) there?

I`m just thankful that so far i haven`t had the need to contact there support staff yet!
