I have often wondered whether the average panty-fetishist prefers a “new” panty, only worn for the amount of time he’s paid for, or an older panty, obviously lived in for a while.? And since it’s been all of ten days since my last poll, I figure it’s time to pose the question to ya’ll.
So do tell fellas…would you rather buy panties that have only been worn for 24 (or 48 or whatever) hours, panties that have been around a while, or something in between?

They got the gusset dirty for me, but the “new” smell was a little over powering. My suggestion for panty sellers is not to put on a brand new pair, wear them, and send them out. Instead wear as wash as usual a couple of times so when they arrive to the buyer, they don’t reek of the chemical from the yarn and dye used in manufacturing. Sealing a new pair in a plastic bag actually concentrates the chemical smell. I want to smell hot, musky pussy only! Also please stay away from Tide, Downey, and other such washing chemicals that leave a long lasting, fresh scent. This is great for your daily wear, but again, heavy perfumes in them mask the natural pussy scent.? 😥
May 13, 2005 at 7:14 pm #2324SuzieMoonshoeMemberHi all, great question Cherie! I’ve come across at least one person who likes the ‘golden oldies’ some of us girls seem to hang on to!
I fully understand that ‘new smell’ panties have and I’ve always hated it myself (I’m not trying to sound all Mother Superior here!) even when I buy clothes for me I have to wash them first to get rid of it. When I buy new panties I wash them with non-scented sensitive washing liquid and the same type of fabric conditioner cause even though I like my bedding to smell like lavender.. I’m sure everyone else doesn’t want lavender whiffing panties!! 😉

Other people will be different so best to order how you yourself would require eg. time worn etc.
Most ladies do give you all options so it’s quite easy. Thanks to all the ladies who do such good work……

May 14, 2005 at 6:41 am #2328Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberThis is a tricky one as I hardly have any “Golden Oldies” left anymore apart from my satin panties and to be totally honest I cannot remember the last time I actually wore a pair of my really old faded, falling apart knickers (always the favourites tho arnt they girls).
In saying that though, I think that wearing new panties direct from the shop is a very silly idea as the starch really does overpower any other scent, plus its really not healthy for your skin.
So … I too always thoroughly wash every single item I buy before putting it anywhere near my skin.? Im pretty certain that my panties do only smell of me and not of “new shop starch”.
I will be offering my last remaining “old tattered panties” soon on my site as a special offer as its a shame to see them go in the bin 😉 .. I just have to remember where they are *grin*

May 16, 2005 at 5:07 pm #2337LadyPMemberThis is very interesting? 🙂 Most of what I’m selling is underwear I’ve bought for myself, so the quality varies from old and saggy cotton fullbacks to almost new lingerie sets. The only times I’ve bought to sell have been when people have requested something I don’t already have. And then I always wash before I wear! Even things like tights and stockings have a ‘new’ smell – eugh! Most of my sales are made through ebare, where I say that I don’t usually buy to sell, but have been wondering if I should mention something about the condition of each pair. I have described things as ‘well worn’ and ‘worn many times’; do buyers think this is enough info for them to know what to expect?

May 21, 2005 at 8:41 am #2355leatherznzpiceMemberFor me Cherie panties shouldn’t smell of newness, I agree with Cindy, as long as they’re washed to get the new shop starch out of them it’s fine.
The important thing is that the panties have been worn and have that? intoxicating fragrance of a woman? JO
