I know that Cindy was in fact selling knickers far longer than eBanned, which means, by your standards Carie, all of eBanned members should give her a cut instead, including yourself! As far as I understood it in the real world you pay for the services you use and since none of us are using e-banned we don’t need to pay for their services.

Yes, I am glittergirljo..been selling on Ebanned for about 5 years.  So here’s your Ebanned seller input 🙂 Yes, I have my own website too.

I always have auctions on Ebanned, in addition to having my site. 

My site is mostly a labor of love (because it doesn’t really make any money, I might break even) – teaching myself HTML and other stuff – plus, its not just about panties – I want it to be a fun place that provides more than just an auction can provide – like a blog, for example. Plus, its just fun to have your own piece of the internet.  I do believe Ebanned and my site are mutually beneficial – that they are closely tied -  because some people that find my site, actually register at Ebanned (and vice versa) – some folks like the thrill of an auction battle, believe it or not, as opposed to purchasing through a store.

Does Ebanned deserve a monetary cut? Nope – due to what I’ve said above.  There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be your own enterprise.  It’s just the way the world works. If people never branched out on their own with new ideas, dreams, etc., the world would be a very different, BORING place!

If you have read the full thread here, you will have seen that  a member from ebanned posted saying that the sellers, whether they belong to ebanned or NOT, should give a % to ebanned on all there sells. Whether or not the site owners know about that post, i thought it was well out of order for a member of there site to come here and do that post.  So therefore i keep to that statement. But IF the owners of ebanned were to post here saying that they knew nothing about that post and are sorry for any trouble is has caused, then i will withdraw it.

And no I`m not a member of ebanned and if i was i would of spoken out about it there.

A lot of people on here aren’t members of ebanned so of course if someone comes on here and announces themselves as some sort of ebanned spokesperson then that will look very very bad for ebanned.

To be honest I was amazed that an ebanned member didn’t tell ebanned admin about it so they could come over and say that this lunatic was nothing to do with them. Sometimes not getting involved can look like you condone what has been said.

So I see why Mike said what he did and I can see why he is standing by what he said

A few facts about Ebanned:

– as a freebie, they allow you to link to your personal selling site from your Ebanned ME page at no charge (this was discussed recently in EB’s forums);

– for a fee they will advertise other fetish selling sites (in the forums area and on auction listings).

It’s ridiculous to attack Cindy (Panty Paradise, not her imitators) on this issue because she’s probably been selling panties on the internet longer than Ebanned has been in operation.  No matter who started first, no one automatically owes anyone else anything…  There is room for everyone.
