I'm new ! Wondering about DIY website packages….

Hello to everyone, I am new here !
What a brilliant site, I’ve barely been off it for the past two days and have learnt loads.
I have recently decided to become a used panty seller ! I’ve never done anything like this before, so it’s all new to me. I have gotten to a stage in my life where I need an injection of fun and excitement, as well as a need to make a bit of extra cash. I’ve been looking into it all for the past week and have to admit to finding the whole thing a massive turn on, which has taken me by surprise actually. My partner has had more sex these past few days than he’d get in a fortnight ordinarilly LOL

He thinks it’s a great idea and is willing to take the photos and any videos I might decide to do – I’ve never done anything like this with a boyfriend before so it’s all a real adventure and rather exciting !

Anyway, my question is this – do any of you know of a DIY website builder I can use that will allow for adult content , and ideally also allow for google ads ? I have no html knowledge and not enough time or desire to learn it. I was considering Moonfruit but although they permit adult sites, the site has to be members only , which is going to turn away alot of visitors who really won’t want the hassle of signing up prior to browsing around.

I’ve done a search here and can’t find any topics to answer this so hopefully someone can advise me on a website service that allows me to have total control over building my site without me needing to have html knowledge and that will allo me to post close up pics of me in panties, some of which would show me in explicit detail.

wordpress.com has fairly good and comprehensive ready templates. You can either use their blog free service, or buy a domain a pay for hosting etc..
As long as you don’t publish pornographic material and have a warning, it should be manageable…
Google ads does not allow adult businesses use.

Have a look at panty university as there is plenty of useful tips and info.

Also I would strongly recommend becoming Panty Trust.com verified.
Sadly we had a high number of fakes and cons recently, and it has become very hard for new sellers to gain buyer’s trust.

I’m not sure about the best DIY web site packages. Many people seem to use the “Website Tonight” package that comes free when you register/host a domain at GoDaddy. I also often see other web site hosts offering their own version of a instant web site builder.

Unfortunately you are out of luck with wanting to run Google ads on your panty site. Google does not allow its adsense program to be used on adult sites…otherwise you’d see it running right here on Panty Hog. 😉

Firstly, welcome to the hog, and on behalf of everyone can I say thank you for talking the time to read the information already available!! You’ve shown yourself already to be competent and enthusiastic so Im sure you’ll fit right in! :laugh:

I agree with Serena. WordPress is a great way of setting up a site. Its pretty easy and great for keeping everyone updated on whats going on. Most of us have a wordpress site/blog, so they’re obviously doing something right.

Hi all and thanks for the warm welcome. It really is great somewhere like this exists as it would be a pretty lonely line of work otherwise I imagine.

Any website I go for has to enable me to optimize the site fully with my own Title Tag, meta description tags, H tags, and so on and I know not all DIY packages do, especially blogs. I am planning a blog (probably with with blogger.com ) as an add-on, but it won’t be my main point of sale…. I need a proper website so I can optimize each individual page for a variety of keywords.

I know Moonfruit allows for this. Moonfruit also lets you have an unlimited amount of websites for a one off fee per year which is around the £100 mark. Handy as I plan to do socks as well at some point and may want other sites for my Tarot business.

Anna, I went on that site you linked to but she has no graphic pics up that I can see . Maybe this is why her site is acceptable without having a members only policy? Or do other ladies you know put up quite explicit pics on their Moonfruit sites, without any problem ?
I read through the Moonfruit policy on adult content sites and rule number 5 states it has to be set up so it’s members only, in addition to having a front page disclaimer about having to be over 18 before you browse. I think I will email them outlining my plans and see what they say, it’s the only way to know for sure.

Prior to making this 1st post I did a search here using the word “moonfruit” to see if any of the ladies here used them. A few sites came up but every one I clicked on no longer existed. Whether this was due to them no longer working or having the site taken off due to breaching policy I don’t know.

I wouldn’t have thought that you would want explicit pics? How explicit do you mean though? Most girls are usually semi clothed at least, wearing panties and bra, more to do with suggestion than an actual eye full. You’ll notice that there is a difference in explicitness of pics when you compare panty sites to panty blogs. You can get away with more/anything when it is your own site.

Whatever moonfruit’s rules are you can see from my link that you don’t have to set up your site for members only.

I think you’re right though. Contact them and see what they say.

I was thinking to have some close of pics of myself in the various panties, a couple of which might showing me pulling the panties up tight so that a little of the lips are showing. But nothing more than that – ie no pics with my legs wide open or anything. That will be pay per view only LOL

I use GoDaddy’s software… the free package only allows 5 pages, but you can upgrade quite inexpensively to an unlimited number of pages.

They allow explicit/adult content so long as you have an opening page warning visitors.

My site is fairly basic due to my limited knowledge, but you can do a lot of customization to their templates, including all the things you mentioned.

I’ve never had any trouble with them. Might be worth looking into for you!

i use http://www.doyourownsite.com but i did have a website i made with moonfruit it was great and very easy to use. the only reason i went back to my other site was that it was the web address i had started with so it was easier to stick with it
