I’m all the time seeing the phrase “in it for the money” tossed around like it’s some kind of BAD thing.? But for heaven’s sake people, if we weren’t “in it for the money” one way or another we wouldn’t be SELLING our panties, we’d be giving them away.

I will freely admit that I am in it for the [glow=green,2,300]money[/glow] . I need a job.? I don’t have time to commit to a normal “career”? Why should I work for a temp service – or whatever – when I can be doing this?? What is so wrong about wanting to make real money doing this, indeed to make a living off it?? I think it makes me a better seller.? My customers are my livelihood and I will work a hell of a lot harder to make sure everybody’s satisfied than some college girl who’s doing it on a lark.

I do very much enjoy selling my panties but am also in need of the money or I wouldnt spend so long on the site every day. I think I provide a service that is definately great value for money but I could never do it for free.

I guess my comments on here have been twisted or misunderstood by some peeps 🙂 .. let me explain what I was trying to say…

I personally am not in it just for the money and I have on many occassions given out free items.  I was trying to encourage newbies not to concentrate mainly on the income but more on the outcome of what you sell … word gets around and you get repeat customers!!!

Yes, I need the money – but the most important thing for me is to enjoy myself doing it.  Clients know if they are not getting the full whack of what they have paid for and that includes, enjoying what you do – it shows!

Thats what I meant in my previous posts 🙂 …Just that you do it because you enjoy it too, as well as watching the pennies coming in!
🙂 .. it makes it much more fun for yourself and alot more enjoyable for your clients.

How about a guy’s point of view? I appreciate what everyone has said. It is fine to put the money that you make selling to good use. You provide a product, and I pay you for that product. Fair enough. On the other hand, I’ve come across sellers who are clearly in it for nothing but the money. Who out here among the panty buyers hasn’t been very disappointed to have spent our hard earned money on a pair of neverworn panties smeared in the crotch with tuna fish oil?

Bottom line is that you have to get some some thrill out of sharing your goods with the buyers, or you won’t get many return buyers. Sorry for the graphic, but for under a dollar, I can grab a pair of panties at Walmart, wipe my ass with them, close my eyes and imagine they’re some lady’s. I think the top sites (Cindy, UKDP’s & Sharonna Lee for example) prove that you have to love what you do to hold on to your panty fans. I don’t see how anyone who doesn’t do it for the love of it could tolerate the sea of mail you get everyday.

Yes it’s true. The fish oil trick is one of the oldest in the books. I don’t know if it is actually women that tend to pull this. One thing to remember is that plenty of men set up and run panty sites or list auctions. They grab a few photos, put them up and write some text posing as a lady. There are actually quite a few of these out there. When they make a sale of course there is no woman to wear them so they spritz a little perfume on the panties and put a few drops of fish oil in the gusset.
