Just a thought…

Whilst putting my tuppence in regarding the discussions with payment processors I realised that we can’t easily identify our nationalitites to each other.  This has proved a tiny problem when we’re discussing bank charges etc.

Along with all our other icons, that are visible to anyone reading a post, could we have a flag say or maybe the symbol of our currency (£ $ or hmm, I don’t have a Euro on my keyboard)to identify our location easily.

As well as helping us sellers whilst discussing selling problems, it would also help the buyer identify girls from his own country in case of concerns with customs.

Just an idea

Hey, that’s a good idea Anna!  Maybe just a little text section in one of the side columns, saying “this seller is based in the USA” or whatever.

No, I’m closing my eyes tightly and hoping it will go away.  :laugh:

I’m looking for possible solutions. We actually kicked this around way back when with our old forum script. It is a great idea. Just not as simple as it sounds. I will actively explore some ideas. In the mean time, you can use your signature area to put a little line about where you are, and what you currency you deal in.

Okay, here’s a start. You’ll notice a user’s location listed directly under their avatar. You can be as specific as you like. Street, city, country, whatever you like. Whatever location information that you put in the location box on your profile page will appear there.

Flag .gifs and currency indicators are for another night, I’ve got to hit the hay. Enjoy!

Uh PK? I don’t see it with my current board theme (Babylon),  :unsure:  though I do see it when on the default theme.

Jules, I didn’t add the location trick to that theme, only our default theme. I will put that on the to do list.

I’m using the non default theme and I dont have that location thingie but its on PK’s todo list so I’ll just sit here quietly  🙂
