I don’t think you can put *too* much stock in domain name registrations alone, as there’s plenty of reason why a girl might not use her real name for them, and there’s also good reason why she might choose to register using the name/address of a male friend or relative.? I know when I was doing mine I thought of it like the telephone directory…many women would never dream of having their name listed alone just for safety’s sake.

Then too, there’s any number of girls with “boy” names (Chris, Robin, Michael, Jesse…)

Nor is having multiple sites necessarily a sign of fraud.? Speaking from my experience with internet playgirls in general (not just panty-girls) you kind of have to have multiple presences to make a half-decent living with this.? As Cindy said in her Used Panty U. course,? you can only wear one pair a day, so you can’t expect to earn much just by selling your knickers.? Now it’s true that many (most?) of us have “day jobs” as well, and I think all of us have great fun doing this, but – not to put too fine a point on it – if we weren’t trying to make a buck we would be giving them away, not selling them.? Some of us (such as myself) would rather do this than have a “day job,”? which means we need even more to make a buck at it.? Thus, multiple sites in the hopes of reaching the broadest audience.

Darcy, for instance, has a site geared specifically toward her sissy-slaves as well as her regular panty site.? And I know a lady who does nothing but online Domming who at one point was working for four different sites (I think she owned two of them).

You kind of have to take this stuff as a whole package – like, in addition to the male registration name and the multiple sites, is there a stamp of personality on it/them?? Or does it look like something out of a box?? Are there any patently untrue claims, eg.? “I’m 29 and I’ve got 20 years experience as a Professional Dominatrix”?? Is there clear information about what you will get and how much it will cost?? When you send an inquiry, does the response seem to come from a real person or from a bot?? Are they offering the physically impossible, eg. “I will send your two pairs of panties, both worn for 48 hours each, the very next day after your order”?? Do they have a presence at any other public forum or website (Panty Trust, PHog, Pantyman, ebanned) where you can check their references, so to speak?

Of course, each and every one of those barometers for Panty Fraud can be got around by a clever trickster, but at some point you just have to take the plunge and risk getting burned.? If you do get burned, you’re out $20 or $30 bucks, which really isn’t all that much if you think about it.? Many’s the time I had a $20 toaster break the week after I brought it home or something like that, yet I still buy toasters? 😛

It’s great, I think, that places like PHog and Panty Trust are popping up where buyers and sellers can “vet” each other.? It’s got to be better than sending your money off to an ad in the back of the paper “Send $20 to Po Box such-and-such for a pair of my worn panties!”? That’s how things were done not so very long ago.

Panty Cop doesnt come here anymore.  What he found out was alot of very interesting information and when he attempted to share it he got blasted down in flames.

He wasnt saying a guys name is wrong, he was trying to make the point that he had come accross about 10 or more sites all registered to just ONE person (a guy) but each site was claiming to be all different women selling panties etc. 

Thats all he was saying, nothing more nothing less, and now he has gone I guess none of us are more the wiser.  His last words of wisdom was “watch for the ones where the photos never change” – and that was the last I heard of him!

He could have exposed a really big ring of fake sites/sellers but nobody wanted to listen and everyone brushed it under the carpet and pretended fake panty sites do not exist .. just like with our latest scammer JimmyP now.

Shame about Panty Cop really, he was actually a nice bloke and was only trying to do some good.  Lets just hope that whatever he dug up that no buyers get caught out by this “ring”.

I don’t even know what happened to him as he suddenly totally disappeared .. maybe he got bumped off by the fake panty mafia!   :unsure:

I’d not read this thread due to it being before my time and I have to say that although panty Cop was a bit brusque with Cindy, and stepped over the line regarding her name, he did have a lot of info that was valuable to both sellers and buyers.

The community needs panty cops and panty patrols so that we can rid the net of fakes and scammers, I agree with Cindy’s sentiments entirely and hope that Panty Cop does come through Panty Hog occasionally.
