It should go without saying that the last thing that Panty Hog wants to encourage is panty fear. However, Panty Hog’s goal is to provide a place for all panty-related news. While some may view the subject matter of this article as controversial, it is certainly an important topic that warrants thought and discussion by the community. Thank you to Cherie for bringing this topic back to our attention. O0

March 28, 2005 at 8:27 am #1866Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberYes, I thought that was a brilliant idea on Cherie’s site but I guess most of us are scared to promote (perhaps unnecessary??) fear in panty buying and we tend to shrug it off or just dont even think about it.
Now in saying that, I do feel it is important to face the facts and provide such information available to browsers – even if its just a link to a health site.
Providing copies of test certificates is a good idea, but then you would have to keep having the test every few months to prove to people that you are constantly clear.? Its irrelevant if you don’t do drugs or only have one partner, you can call yourself a nun on your website if you want to but that doesnt necessarily mean you will be believed.? So to provide such up-to-date certificates, is great if you can afford it – but realistically most of us can’t.
Its a damn good discussion and I think that EVERY seller should have a recognised symbol/icon/link that is on their site to some sort of health organsation.? Maybe PK could even contact a few health organsations to ask if they would be willing to provide a page on their website dedicated to the risk factors of worn panties and “special” panties that we can all use to link to.

This is a very good point Cindy.? With very little effort even things like Panty Trust can be scammed (NOT that I am saying it has been, just that it could be), and you should never just take anybody’s word for things, especially people you meet on the web.
But on the other hand, making the effort is better than doing nothing to protect yourself at all.
And BTW, there’s a hepatitis C test available online for at-home use; it costs about $55
http://www.testsymptomsathome.com/?portalid=GOO
I know this would get to be really expensive done three or four times a year, but if a guy’s willing to pay $45 (or whatever) for the panties themselves, and he cares about his own health, he ought to be willing to shell out for her to be tested every once in a while, plus I’m sure that most girls have more than one client who buys poopy/period panties so the same gent doesn’t have to pay for every testing.
What would be really nice is is if someplace like Panty Trust would buy the test kits wholesale; they’d be able to get a quantity discount that we girls individually couldn’t manage, and then be able to provide the tests to us for cheaper.? Plus our test results (and the date the test was done) could be posted on our PT pages.

I get mine done every couple of years for free on the NHS. The expense thing is no longer really a valid excuse for the UK. It’s not a nice experience by any means but I do it for my own piece of mind even though, strictly speaking, I haven’t a ‘real’ reason to have it done. For the piece of mind I’d advise everyone go, it’s a major wake up call seeing the normal faces in the waiting rooms and they welcome the ‘better safe than sorry types’ like me that just come for a check up.
The only time they give you anything on paper is when they’ve found something, so I’m happy without the paperwork!!  I suppose if you ask they’ll put it on paper for you, but I guess even with a certificate on your website, it comes down to trust.Â
I advised a seemingly healthy friend to get a check up and she came home with..well…paperwork!! You really can’t say “I know I’m ok” until you’ve been xxx

March 28, 2005 at 3:37 pm #1872Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberHmmm good point about free tests in the NHS but even though you know your are clear its silly when they dont issue certificates to prove that fact.? I live in Germany so everything I do, even phoning the doctor is invoiced (yes they are right greedy sods over here).
I recently gave blood over here as my blood type is rare in Germany (O positive) (which is the most common in the UK!!!) … I was tested for everything going, for free, but for this they also don’t issue an ‘all clear’ certificate when you donate your blood!
I think that for us girls that know we are clear of any heebie jeebies should make the health information available for our browsers but I don’t see a reason to panic – our regular clients know that we are ‘safe’ already 😉
I still think a good informative link about what “could be” should be shown on every panty selling site … and then its up to the browser to make up his own mind.
Guys have been sniffing knickers for years and years and years … what about all the stuff us older ones got up to when we were younger .. rusty bikes, no helmets on, playing in the dirt … blimey these days if you see a kid on a bike without a helmet all hell breaks loose … but you know what, we survived – so are we making an issue out of something that isnt really a huge issue at all:huh:
Hmmmmm … Cindy ponders?

Yes, and another problem of course is privacy. Many panty sellers like to keep intimate details of their identity at least somewhat protected for a number of very good reasons. To provide a certificate to anyone that requested it would blow all hope of privacy out the door. I don’t think that there is an easy answer for this issue, and as I did mention in the article, I couldn’t find any explicit proof of used panties infecting someone. In light of the logistical problems with providing proof of a clean bill of health, and as you say Cindy, not knowing for sure if it is an issue for all, a link to more information may be the most realistic solution at this time. Again, this lets the panty hobbyist make his or her own decision. If some were able and willing to provide proof of health status, it could be just another bonus for buyers who are considering buying from them. The only thing I can say for sure is that folks should not do this: ilov with people that they don’t VERY well! 😉

a link to more information may be the most realistic solution at this time.
So, what should we do and with whom should we link?? Maybe we should all go on a “medical hunt” for half an hour and maybe post a few links and we all decide which one is the most informative to generally link to from our sites, which covers everything in a nutshell …. or we pluck up the courage and see if they would be interested in helping us out with a special link just for us?? :whistling:March 28, 2005 at 6:46 pm #1877Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberI have found a pretty good link, which shows everything about Hep A, B and C in a nicely presented table:
http://www.immunize.org/catg.d/p4075abc.htmFrom what I gather, its only the fans of “skat and monthly” items which seem to be most at risk – I have spent a good while online but I have to admit I couldnt really find anything else relating to pussy juice etc. As PK and Cherie have both pointed out – most viruses cannot live outside the body.
I will probably be putting that link above on my site because i think its informative and a good overall outline for the more “extreme” fans.
If anyone finds anything better or more detailed, please share 🙂
Love CindsMarch 28, 2005 at 6:51 pm #1878SuzieMoonshoeMemberI hope as a newbie panty gal I’m not sticking my neck out of the nest too much but I have to say I agree with the point that Admin made in an earlier post about privacy being an issue. (particularly cause I’m in the UK I think, this country seems to have gone privacy crazy, everyone’s scared about what everyone else is doing – not always without reason I fully admit) Please do not misunderstand me, I think it’s better to make sure you’re not carrying anything, particularly when dealing with ‘Body fluids’ (wow I know how to make it sound sexy dont i? 😉 heheh) I myself, like Pink Champagne, have been getting tested regularly on the NHS just for ‘peace of mind’. ?
I also agree with Cindy’s point that kids used to play in all sorts and got filthy and it was fine, their immune systems had something to do! Now parents scream if guests don’t remove their shoes because the kids will catch something. ?Again, I’m not saying that the possibility of ‘Killer Panties’ should be ignored by any means. People need to know the possibilities and don’t we as the sellers need to make sure they at least have access to the info? ? I think Cindy’s idea of panty sites linking to accurate information is fab and I will be happy to adopt it.
Anyway, im just gonna… crawl back into my nest now… 😉

March 28, 2005 at 8:27 pm #1879Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberSexy Suzie! you dare run and hide girlfriend!!! – your posts on the forum are really great, so stop peeking behind your curtains of your nest and hang out with us for a while heheehe :-)…
I do have to say that it sounds so far as if everyone is getting themselves tested in one way or another for all kinds of reasons, peace of mind, giving blood etc.? Im so glad this forum was started by PK and a huge thank you goes to Cherie who had the balls to actually confront the whole thing and actually dedicate part of her site to it B)
Talking of kids getting dirty etc – I love to see my two boys playing in puddles with sticks and rolling around in the mud – and you know what they are hardly ever sick or poorly!!!? My cousin is a “clean freak” and I dont think Ive ever known him without a cold or something wrong with him!
…Plus, I cant really see any of our panty lovers being “clean freaks” anyway or they wouldnt be buying your used panties in the first place hehehee! So which of the two has the more resistance and antibodies – not my cousin for sure – he probably drinks bleach for breakfast he is such a fanatic!? .. Hey Cuz . this ones for you? ilovROF .. ooo Im so wicked sometimes? 😛
March 28, 2005 at 9:18 pm #1880SuzieMoonshoeMemberLOL!! Such caustic humor! I love it! hehehe!
