” just an observation ”
Now things seem to be back to normal i would like to make a few points.I’m not sure why some people are now missing, what annoyed me was an all day slanging match between ”alleged” newbies and members, this should have been nipped in the bud right away.
What was worse is to see a good member have posts removed for no apparent reason,i refer to Glittergirljo who only tried to help a newbie by saying what he was after could be found on ebanned, still confused why this was removed.Maybe when posts which we have all read are suddenly removed an explanation why may be a good idea.I have been here for quite
some time now and remember when we were just one big happy family, can we return to that way of thinking in future.”It’s Nice to be Nice ”
just a thought

August 12, 2008 at 2:20 pm #22917AnnaMemberAn explanation isn’t always possible. If a member wants to know why their posts have been removed then they are entitled to ask Admin and the moderating team. It is then up to that member if they wish to share that information with any of the other members.
Regarding the day long argument I can’t actually recall what it was I’m afraid, but I will say that moderators, of which there are only three, are human too, warts and all – exactly like the other members. We’re not perfect and we don’t claim to be perfect. Members also have to bear in mind that the moderating team are sometimes privy to additional information that can’t be made public. So although some of our decisions may seem odd there is always a very very good reason for them.
Granted you have been here longer than I have Jazzy but I have been here for two and a half years and I have spent a lot of time reading over past threads on the forum. Panty Hog has never been a perfect happy family. We have always had rows and we have always had unpleasant members causing trouble for others. We have had threats (some very serious), we have had asshats, we have everything that can possibly happen.
One thing I will say about Panty Hog though is that despite the occasional differences and fallings out and the asshats this is still the friendliest most helpful forum I have ever been a member of.I don’t know anywhere else where a newbie can get ALL the information she needs to set up as a seller.
It’s human nature to want peace and happiness but it is also human nature to argue and make mistakes. Such is life. Such is Panty Hog.

Let’s not delude ourselves by thinking a community is able of living in ‘harmony’ all the time. We are not all compatible- sadly its a fact of life.
All considered members within the PH community are respected and supported by one another, the odd scrap appears to be triggered by distrust in random people who don’t offer reasons to be trusted. PK and the mods spend a fair bit of time checking things outside of this forum to safe-gard PH…
….there are always reasons, all one needs doing is ask what they are, preferably in private ….
Group hugs are great tho 🙂
August 12, 2008 at 11:57 pm #22923adminKeymasterPanty Hog has always been lucky in consistently having a core of great members who are accepting and more than willing to help anyone with a sincere interest in the used panty fetish. It is a very simple formula to very quickly become accepted as a member of “the family”…
respect others here and treat them in a civil manner even when you disagree.
That is the one and only thing I and most members ask from other members. If someone can’t “play nice” I think most would agree that we don’t want them here disturbing our fun.
As for post deletions, they thankfully are needed infrequently and done only when the content is spam, clearly meant to inflame, libelous, racist/bigoted/hate speech, extremely disrespectful, or obviously mean-spirited. Deleting these types of nonsense posts and letting the forum move on without bringing the negative post more attention is “nipping it in the bud”…we don’t need it here. Any adult with an interest in the used panty fetish should be able to feel welcome here and have an enjoyable time without feeling attacked, threatened, embarrassed, or stabbed in the back. There are plenty of other forums that welcome that type of crap because it increases traffic to their forum.
The specific post you mention was absolutely out of line. The fact that it came from a long time member here who I had personally helped out made it far worse. I can assure you that it and the member’s related posts and emails that surrounded it were in no way “nice”.

August 13, 2008 at 12:05 pm #22927Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberAlot of decisions moderators and admin makes are for a good reason and if in doubt we all discuss which action should be taken.
I saw the post that was deleted and this is not the first time that another auction site was bigged up on here by that member, Sellers should realise that if they join here they are advertising themselves for free, having news items for free, member pages for free, and much much more for FREE… so it would be nice if they gave a little thoughtfullness to this site too – such as also recommending Panty Bid, which is connected to pantyhog, for example.
If certain members are not happy with moderator or admin decisions, please bear in mind that there is usually a bigger picture that you are not aware of. Please contact one of us privately for more information if you feel something is not justified and one of us will be more than happy to discuss it privately with you.
