live webcam broadcasting question

I was wondering if anyone has done a live webcam broadcast from their website before and if so, how did ‘ja do it?

I’ve been peeping around and stickam looks like it works pretty well and I’ve seen it on other girl’s sites, but I’m wondering if anyone knows if you have to be a friend of someone in order to see their broadcast or just a member of the site or just anyone who stumbles accross my page?

The reason I ask is because I want to do a free live webcam and chat session from my website for my one year anniversary. I want it to be open to anyone who want to join. It’s going to be a celebration.

If anyone has any helpful hints, I would be much obliged.

I don’t know about that particular service, however Yahoo messanger lets you do a live cam feed that is pretty large and pretty clear. People that viewed your show would need to be on your friends list though I believe.
