Mailing panties (attn: Canadian sellers!)

I recently discovered (and had confirmed by some more experienced sellers on Ebanned) that you can mail a one or two item package as a “large envelope” rather than a parcel.  (You just have to package the items as flat as possible and use a large envelope.) 

This is AWESOME because:

• a letter gets delivered quicker than a parcel
• no customs declaration form
• postage to the U.S. is only $1.70+tax instead of $5.60 for small parcel
• I can just dump my envelopes in the mailbox instead of taking them to the post office (and having the clerk wonder why in the heck I am mailing so many “clothing” packages!)

I have been frustrated by the amount of time it takes a package from Canada to get to the U.S. (in some cases I could have WALKED it over more quickly!)  This seems to have improved the situation.  🙂
