I’m sure you’re referring to the posts I’ve made about meeting a girl from here. Let’s get the facts right before it continues to be ammo for someone’s argument.
The meeting took place as part of a gathering of panty sellers and buyers from another site. These gatherings were happening yearly for about 4 or 5 years and have pretty much ended. They were always a great time and very safe for all involved.
I’m not sure what this event has to do with the current discussion as it was a different situation all together. It doesn’t matter what’s legal, a seller meeting an anonymous buyer is just a bad idea. I don’t care how much backup you bring!!!

…Second, I know that I’ve read at least two stories here on Panty Hog about face-to-face meetings between a buyer and a seller. The first story — forgive me for not remembering all the details — took place in the Chicago area. I recognized both the buyer’s and seller’s names, they were long-time members of this web site. They met at a bar, and I believe that each of them came with a group of friends. It sounded very safe and sexy for both of them. I seem to remember that she actually waved the panties past his nose for a moment in the bar!…
March 11, 2008 at 9:54 pm #20362adminKeymasterProstitution has been illegal in the USA since the early 1900’s. Be careful about the Nevada thing, there is just a very tiny, out in the middle of nowhere, spot in the remote desert where it is legal only in a couple of state approved “ranches”. Look for a “date” in Vegas and you go to jail.
In the USA, if a John and a prostitute get caught, they both go to jail, and in many communities the John gets his picture and name put in the local paper, and if he picked up the prostitute with his car, his car is permanently taken from him as well.
March 12, 2008 at 1:36 am #20364Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberTHere are some guys out there that are absolutely wonderful, and yes, I have even met up with a couple of buyers myself .. but this was after YEARS of friendship and talking on the phone, I dont consider them buyers anymore, they are my friends.
I would never ever meet up with any new buyer, ever.
Most guys are probably OK .. but some guys might not be. Whos to say they won’t expect sex as well, which is where the prostitution comes into it. Let alone the risk of being abducted and cut up in small peices and fed to the wolves.
Although I can see how lovely it is for a buyer to meet his fantasy girl, it is not something that the panty industry encourages nor expects sellers to do.
It is a sellers personal choice, if they feel safe enough to meet up for coffee in a public place it is up to them – but I certainly would never ever recommend it or encourage it, unless you absolutely fully trust and know your buyer personally as a friend.

Wow, I didn’t know that. In the UK prostitution isn’t illegal. But soliciting, pimping, running a brothel and living off immoral earnings is. If a prostitute ever gets arrested it is because she has solicited. Our Home Secretary is currently trying to change the law so paying for sex becomes the illegal act. The assumption being that all prostitutes are victims and they are being forced into prostitution.
March 12, 2008 at 6:14 am #20367AnonymousGuestAs far as I know, it is illegal to be a prostitute on the streets of the UK or to run or work in a brothel, though it seems to be ok to work in a “massage parlour”
However 1 woman working from a house or apartment as a prostitute isn’t illegal as it is only herself, if she had other girls there, it would be.March 12, 2008 at 8:07 am #20370AnnaMemberHoney Bea wrote:

It is illegal to run a brothel though.
You are right that it is legal for a woman to work from her house. If she had other girls there then it would be a brothel and she would be prosecuted for running a brothel. Even if she had a ‘maid’ it would be considered as a brothel, she would be charged but the maid wouldn’t as long as the maid isn’t handling the money or taking the bookings. If the maid does, then she/he could be prosecuted for pimping.
Trust me, I have to know these things as I am considered a sex worker under UK law.

WOW! I am glad i live in Amterdam!!!!!!! Prostitution is legal here, as they are considered ‘self-employed’ and have to pay taxes….

and to think after taking all that money for hookers, he’s not being charged with that…all they can get him on is the violation of the Mann Act of 1910.
(Moving prostitute across state lines)More on the Mann Act and Spitzer

Interesting.
This is a law that I’m sure our Home Secretary will be interested in. She assumes that all sex workers are poor exploited unwilling victims of abusive men as well. Women don’t enjoy sex you see. Women should only earn money in low paid, dead end part-time jobs , min wage preferably…
*rolls eyes*
March 14, 2008 at 8:42 pm #20442AnonymousGuestHi Kylie, don’t do it – like others have said.
These requests will not go away the longer you are selling either. I still receive them, and politely decline or in some cases, not so politely given the situation  :woohoo: .
