When you create a member gallery, please notice the box on the form that says “share”. If you click this box, your gallery is wide-open to all members. They will be able to change or add anything in your gallery! If you don’t want people to be able to do this, please make sure the share box is unchecked so only you will have access to change your gallery.
If you log in to the the gallery and see that someone forgot to uncheck the share box, please do not add or change their gallery. Instead, just use the icon to create a new gallery just for you.
Sorry that the two ladies that encountered a problem with this today will need to start from scratch again. However, when the two galleries get intermingled, basically, we can only delete it and start fresh to avoid access problems later.
Please also keep in mind the size of the photos you upload. If a photo is so large that it doesn’t fit on the screen, it will not be well-received by viewers of your gallery. Those that are on dial-up will never stick around the 8 minutes it takes to load each photo, and those with hi-speed will get pissed off that they have to scroll around and can only see a tiny piece of you at a time. If your photos are larger than at most, 600 x 600, consider resizing them before upload.
I’m happy to answer any questions.
Thanks, PK
