Member pages, backslash problems

Whatever you did, my Member Page is finally unlocked.  I can edit it again!

Having said that, I have noticed a problem.

First, I have apostrophes in the text on my member page (and what are the chances that I wouldn’t?  :huh:  ).  After one round of editing, ‘ becomes ‘.  And in the next round ‘ becomes ‘.  At every successive round of editing, after the first one, two backslashes are being added!

If I edit out the backslashes, the process starts all over again.

Gratuitous backslash accumulation seems to be happening with some low-level HTML formatting information, too — things I can’t even edit directly.  One part of my Path information on one page reads:

body >> span >> table.”””htmtableborders””” >> tbody >> tr >> td >> p >> a

My link to Anna’s page, which I did NOT edit, now reads:

https://www.usedpantyportal.com/”/&#8221://&#8221:///&#8221:////”http://www.sugarsweetknickers.co.uk/////&#8221:////&#8221:///&#8221://”/”

This will end in disaster, I tell you!  😥

You cant use ‘ in the titles etc 🙂 .. that muffs it up. I have the same thing on one of my other sites and this is actually to prevent spammers and others from trying to inject things into the server.  Its a safety catch.

Just take out the ‘ and it will be fine :)..

I’ve actually been working on the Member Pages all this week. There seems to be a problem with the WYSIWYG editor javascript and certain browsers like IE7 that is causing http://www.usedpantyportal.com to be added to the front of all external links. I changed the site editor to a different one last night. This seemed to fix some but not all of the pages. Still working on it, hopefully everything will be straightend out soon.
