Mini Chat takes Cursor

Very minor thing but I have done this a couple of times now, when I reply to a topic I’m typing the first line as soon as the reply window appears, usually looking at the keyboard but aware the reply window is available. I then hit return to go to the next line of the post only to find I have actually been typing in the Mini Chat message box (the cursor always defaults to that text entry box) and by hitting return I have posted the first line of my Forum reply in the Mini Chat window  :cheer:

Is there any way that the cursor can start in the forum reply window for replies to forum posts ? It keeps catching me out lol

Yep, that happens to me too. I then have to delete it from the Message space under mini chat and retype in here

Not just me then  ;)  That, “Hi Anna” visible in the Mini Chat window right now was the first line of my PM last night lol  :cheer:

Yes, that damn thing gets me too. Instead of deleting and re-typing though, I cut the text from the mini chat form and paste it here. My honest answer though is aside from dropping the mini chat from the forum area of the site, at the moment, I haven’t a clue on what needs to be changed to tell browsers to make the forum form the default place to park instead of the chat form. I will look into it more however. In the mean time remember to check that your cursor is in the right area before typing. In other words, do as I say not as I do because I forget to check every time.  :laugh:

anyway, once yu find that line you can comment it out by adding // infront of it. That prevents it from executing. I hope that solves the problem.
