Dear Members,
It has certainly been an interesting week or so. There have been some pretty serious accusations, a ton of hurt feelings, extreme anger, and even one declaration of murderous rage (no exaggeration). I think this past week has shown how strongly people in the used panty community feel about the issue of fraud. Rightly so, no buyer wants to think that he has spent his hard-earned money on something that isn’t as it was represented to be. It doesn’t matter what you’re selling, if you know that you are deceiving buyers, you are stealing from them. It’s just as if you broke into their home and stole their television. I don’t blame anyone for getting seriously pissed off if they felt they had been mislead and stolen from.
Misrepresentation and fraud also pisses off sellers, again rightly so. There are a great many very honest women working very hard to provide a decent service, and to help buyers overcome their logical fear of getting ripped off. When buyers do get taken, this starts it all over again and hurts all sellers.
I said it a year ago, and I’ll say it again, anyone that would cheat a man out of the simple pleasure of enjoying an honest pair of worn panties is a real scumbag. The problem is, I don’t have a crystal ball, and I can’t tell you what is true and what isn’t in most cases. With the current topic, as well as past and future allegations of fraud, threats, etc., unfortunately all anybody can do is to read the information available and make the determination that they feel comfortable with.
If you suspect fraud or have a problem with a seller, by all means, your post regarding it is welcome here on Panty Hog. However, after 107 posts in the two threads over several days, many members are telling me that they believe that the current topic has run its course. Some have told me that they are actually avoiding the forum entirely because they come here to relax and the tone lately has made them uncomfortable. So, I’ve closed these two threads, but have left them readable. In doing so, I hope that everyone can feel comfortable here, and those that want to continue to follow the story can follow the links to the several blogs discussing it in more detail.
As always, tomatoes and rotton fruit are permitted to be thrown at the stage 😉 I have thick skin. Your comments and thoughts are welcome.
Thanks,
PKJune 30, 2006 at 6:28 am #9022joeMemberNo problem admin. I invite all panty cop types and ripped off buyers to post on the wall of shame which is my new blog.
June 30, 2006 at 1:38 pm #9024ClarkGriswaldMemberJoe your comments are locked to non blogers. Unlock it and I’ll spraypaint my thoughts on that wall.

July 1, 2006 at 3:43 pm #9032AnnaMemberjoe – feel free to copy my blog, about the emails, use my links too, onto your blog. I want that evidence of the bullying and threats against me to be available as far and as wide as possible.
Everyone in Pantyland has a right to know, and make up their own minds based on all the available information.
July 4, 2006 at 2:55 am #9079darkhairedkarenMemberI was a bit late to the party for the whole saga that has unfolded here…Â I haven’t read everything posted on all the sites mentioned, but I’ve read all the posts here at PHog and feel like I’ve seen more than enough.
A few months ago I started a new job with long hours, so I am not very involved in pantying anymore, just selling the occasional pair to a repeat buyer or someone new who seeks me out. As such I’m not really affected very much by some of the behaviour that’s been going around, and can offer my thoughts as someone who is a step removed from the scene.
If you’ve been accused as a fake but are genuine: say your piece in your defense then go on with life. If you’ve been around a long time you have repeat customers, which are the lifeblood of any successful service. If you’re relatively new, there are lots of buyers who don’t read message boards and some of them will be willing to give you a try. If you’re real it will shine through when people try your panties.
If you’ve been accused as a fake and ARE fake: before getting defensive give a moment of thought to why people are angry when they feel defrauded. Just because you are at peace with your behaviour doesn’t mean everyone else thinks it is acceptable, and a business transaction is a relationship that involves more than just yourself.
As for nastiness and threats (illegal!), there’s no need for any of that. If your actions stem from having been accused, read my previous two paragraphs.
I enjoy the friendship, sexiness, and panties that compose 99% of what goes around on PHog…Â I hope that will always be what makes this site great and draws users and fans.
Love,
Allura smt
